The bushings didn't but the new driveshaft did...a new csb came on the driveshaft but it appeared to me in every sense that the driveshaft came with a 318 csb on it but they said they were the same....we will see if it holds up...the guibo was done the same time as my csb in june after I bought the car last year.

Everything, all the engine preventive maitenence and what not. I have a vacuum leak now I think so new vacuum lines and a proper M50 intake swap kit. ICV replacemennt or cleaning, new front hubs, and bushings. New power steering rack and pump probably to see if I can finally get power steering in my daily driver.

Glad you got the vibration ironed out. How often do you hang out on bimmerforums? I'd check the classified's and regional sections for parts cars and see if you can get a whole rack and pump for a good buy. If you find something up here let me know and I can go get it for you.

Hubs are surprisingly easy if you have the big-ass socket, and DJ has one you could probably borrow. I used one of DJs used bearings to save money, which you may or may not want to do, but maybe if you can find someone doing a full part out you could get a couple good ones for cheap. The suspension stuff isn't awful if you replace the whole control arm, otherwise i think you need a press to get the old bearings out. The end links and tie-rods are fairly straight forward.

I cleaned my 170k mile ICV and it made a huge difference. I was never particularly good at running down vacuum leaks though, luckily my car still pulls a vacuum. you've done the index card trick to make sure that's the problem right?

Nope, never heard of the index card trick but I know exactly where its coming from if it is one
