Bad luck to put the same plates on a wrecked car.

I had another friend kept swapping the plates off his cutlass, then his camaro, and both of those are in scrap yards now, both through no fault of his own...got new plates for his current cutlass, and hasn't had any problems

- CaptainHenreh - 02-12-2008

That's retarded.

- WRXtranceformed - 02-12-2008

Wow man I can't believe that! You have the worst luck bud... two accidents are gonna kill the resale value of that car I bet, are you planning on keeping it for a while?

Resale value was already destroyed by the last accident. I went after diminished value only to find out the lady had insufficient personal property liability. Sad

Visibity issues are my number one complaint against trucks and SUVs. Not only can you not see around/through them on the road, they generally don't see you... especially if you're in a small sports car. They make all the reasonably priced, fun cars too unsafe for public roads.

- Maengelito - 02-12-2008

fuckin shit john, sorry to hear it. i hope its not as much of a headache to get this one fixed

- Ginger - 02-12-2008

Funny enough you should say that, Chris, I was hit by an SUV in my recent accident, as well.

- Maengelito - 02-12-2008

i've got a nice scratch on the side of the suby which from the height of it looks like a brush guard from an SUV did it as well. fuckin' charlottesville...

- John - 02-12-2008

And then there's the truck victims - RJ got hit this evening as well.

- Ginger - 02-12-2008

and by a Neon, of all things.

Although, that was idiocy on the part of the econojunkbox owner... who'd have thought - a Neon owner?! Wink

- John - 02-12-2008

With the stories I've heard from many people this evening about the condition of Fairfax and Arlington County, I'd say that pretty much everybody was vulnerable. People I know in Loudoun said it wasn't that bad...

- JackoliciousLegs - 02-12-2008

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I'm sorry man.

- Evan - 02-12-2008

it really sucks to be that small and pavement colored to boot Sad

- drivesideways46 - 02-13-2008

Sorry about the car, it was looking beautiful in those pics!

HAULN-SS Wrote:Did you have the same liscense plates on it? just wondering

Is it too soon to suggest new vanity plates?

My vote is: ROLNTRGT

Loudon wasn't too bad, but the roads in WV were worse than anyhting in nova - really sticky snow that didn't get plowed/salted before people ran over it and turned it into a nice sheet of ice. Got to enjoy that for about 15 miles of my ride home

- Dave - 02-13-2008

Jesus Christ John, I'm sorry.
I'll 2nd the vote for the ROLNTRGT plates.

For the record, the problem in trucks and SUVs is not visibility, it is the assclown driving that doesn't give a shit. I drive a big f'in truck every day and have never had any problems merging in on people or scrubbed against something and not realized it/not expected it (the only things I've hit was a trashcan in the middle of a parking space I intentionally rammed and a traffic cone).
