The minivan is going, I will be camping in it unless it gets too hot then I am off to Sylvia's place (in Winchester). I can take a grill, but I am leaving for vacation right after hyperfest on Sunday so anything I bring up will be in there until I come back the following Monday. If you are cool with that, when do I pick up the grill? Call me J - JustinG - 06-19-2007 yea thats cool with me, i just have no way of transporting the damn thing, it wont exactly fit in the eclipse
- Scott - 06-20-2007 is who ever gets there first going to block off the area behind the CMC?AI guys? - Maengelito - 06-20-2007 well as many spaces as we're allowed i suppose. - JustinG - 06-20-2007 Who's bringing what???? as far as food and beverage are concerned. We will have the Grill as long as Jeff can still throw her in the back of the van. Aaron should have the cooler with water and beer, and we talked about sticking to hotdogs because they are cheaper and easier. So if any one wants to bring chips or punch and pie that would be great. - Mike - 06-20-2007 i'll have enough for myself... no room in the packed hatch for anything else... that means: 3 cans of soup 3 cans of tuna handful of breakfast bars can of cashews can of pringles bag of jerky water bottle sterno + stove i'll also bring some beers in exchange for some cooler space. the name of the mid-summer weekends is water and salt
- Maengelito - 06-20-2007 Mike Wrote:i'll have enough for myself... no room in the packed hatch for anything else... that means: i'll have lots of water, lots of beer, some gatorade a can of mixed nuts (onyachin) flavor blasted goldfish and some breakfast bars as well. remember mike, we get lunch as instructors. - Maengelito - 06-20-2007 oh yeah, cobalt gt-s brakes are on, azenis are on and teched the car. all i need to do is put the hardtop on it and pack the shoebox trunk and i'm ready to go on friday! w00t! - EuphoriousCntrl - 06-21-2007 i can grab some caution tape at Lowes for the area, make it noticeable. yellow, orange, pink??? also, how are people camping friday night - i thought they only allowed camping saturday night for spectators... "Please note: There is no spectator camping on Friday night, June 22. Spectator camping will only be on Saturday, June 23. " - JustinG - 06-21-2007 ^^^^^^hey are you leaving from the burg??? If so catch up with Aaron. - Andy - 06-21-2007 Did anyone notice that the proposed campsite is next to a dyno? Loud ass race cars + race gas fumes=the suck
- Apoc - 06-21-2007 Isn't the camping is the fields down by T3 and dyno back in the woods? - Andy - 06-21-2007 Apoc Wrote:Isn't the camping is the fields down by T3 and dyno back in the woods? Engrish? - Maengelito - 06-21-2007 i noticed that too, but i'm sure if there's a dyno we can paddock in the grass past OG racing. i would think the dyno would fit better by OG racing though, so we'll see when we get there. - Jeff - 06-21-2007 There needs to be a "Turbo Minivans" area... EDIT- CALL ME JUSTIN! - Apoc - 06-21-2007 Andy Wrote:Apoc Wrote:Isn't the camping is the fields down by T3 and dyno back in the woods? I was trying to speak in engrish so you and meang could understand me. It looks like the camping is down where it always is, in the grass towards T1 & T3. The dyno is in the wooded/grassy section being the actual paddock. I know some people camp there but isn't most of the camping down in the field? - Mike - 06-21-2007 i typically camp where the dyno is... hrmph... i might try to get on the grass leading up to T&S. - Beej - 06-21-2007 w00t! I'll be popping my track cherry and hanging out for a little bit early Saturday - got shit to do after that. I expect many poor decisions to ensue. - PDenbigh - 06-21-2007 A friend of mine named Dave Lockhart will be doing his first HPDE with NASA this weekend. He drives a white XR4Ti. I told him to look for you guys, but if you see him could you give him a shout and help him feel welcome? Thanks, Peter |
