Very true. Hopefully I'll have some pics later this week of the finished product. If I feel industrious I might go ahead and take apart the headlights to install the halo lights. I'm not really comfortable with hooking up the wiring under the hood, but I can at least get the toughest part done (bulbs in the headlights) and I can go ahead and apply that rockblocker to finish up the exterior.

YES! Pay no mind to the STi, I didn't have enough energy to wash that one today too.

I'm really happy with how they turned out, and I'm glad I didn't black them out. It should look 10xs better once I get the calipers painted to hide the ugly corrosion on them. The car rides 1000000xs better now! Probably because I had an alignment done and it was WAY out of spec before I took it in there ha ha..... the ride is sooo smooth and comfortable, the tires seem to grip well.

Scotty, make those wheels gold to show him what he's missing!

yeah Lee, don't you want your Lexus to look like a WRX too!?

seriously though those wheels are hot as balls. love the smoked lenses too. wouldn't change a thing.

Looks good man. If you do end up doing the halo's I would spray the housings black. It would be good continuity wise.

- WRXtranceformed - 04-18-2007

Debadged today, and added the chrome back into the interior. It's kind of rice, but I am a ricer and I've always thought my interior needs more flash.
Looks much cleaner now:

The IS300 letters are a little off center, but it actually looks fine from inside the car. What do you guys think?

- HAULN-SS - 04-18-2007

dude, move that over to the left like a centimeter

- Nis01 - 04-18-2007

The car looks awesome Lee and the rear looks much more clean without the badging. I like the Lexus one on the interior but the IS300 one is a bit much.

- ScottyB - 04-18-2007

whoa....the booty looks nice!

how did you not take the opportunity to put that IS300 badge on a fat silver chain?! it could have been perfect!

- Mike - 04-19-2007

wheels look great, but i'd (not a ricer Wink) lose the interior badges.

TOTALLY AGREE..

but yea.. the wheels look hot.. i vote keep em silver

- Mike - 04-20-2007

OH and if you're blacking it out? need to get those side markers and smoke the headlights.

- WRXtranceformed - 04-20-2007

Yeah, the headlights I'm actually going to do in a blue rockblocker... check out the photochop Scotty did, it should look pretty good. I may take Rob's suggestion and black out the housings though. I don't know what I'm going to do about the front sidemarkers... the rear came with the black out kit but the front didn't.

- Mike - 04-20-2007

tint tape.

- Feersty - 04-20-2007

That rear is hot dude.

Painted the calipers and threw on the vinyls today. Can I just say that taking wheels off without air tools is really gay. Here are some pics:

No more garbage corroded calipers =)

- WRXtranceformed - 05-04-2007

That LEXUS vinyl is perfectly spaced on the front caliper btw, it just doesn't look like it is from that pic because you can't see the whole thing.

- HAULN-SS - 05-04-2007

taking wheels off without air tools IS gay. Every time I rotate it pisses me off.
