Then what is?

Read the second part of the line you quoted dummy.

No, what is cookie cutter suburbia, if it isnt Vienna. Dummy!

ASHBURN!

- Apoc - 11-01-2007

Oh... yeah I admit I suck... but I have a hangover. Tongue

I'd say Ashburn, Fairfax Station or Rockville.

- .RJ - 11-01-2007

All looks the same to me :dunno:

Suburbia sux.

- Apoc - 11-01-2007

Except Vienna has people with guns...

It's the socioeconomic status of the inhabitants, not the neighborhood layout, that defines suburbia.

You're overusing that icon btw.

- Kaan - 11-01-2007

whats the difference between Vienna and Ashburn other than the fact Vienna has been established MUCH longer?

closer in.

vienna probably has more buildings taller than 6 stories, wouldn't you say?

You're lying to yourself if you think Assburn doesnt have guns or unsavory people living there. How's that subsidized housing working out there?

I'm pretty sure there arent any buildings taller than 3 stories in vienna.

- Maengelito - 11-01-2007

no, where i wanna live is right and where you wanna live is wrong.

Thats the spirit! Charlottesville SUCKS!

- Kaan - 11-01-2007

Vienna WAS the extreem cookie cutter 25 years ago. hell the old areas are still that way, you could pick between two different kinds of homes, and they looked the same from the outside anyway.

I think there are some larger building on the fairfax boarder, and a 4 story building off of 123... and the only reason you have those kinds of building is because of the establishment of the area. wait 25 years, i'll dig this thread up, and we'll all take a drive through ashburn.

- Maengelito - 11-01-2007

i definitely agree that charlottesville sucks. i never said i wanted to live there though.

Yeah you guys would be in good shape!

What REALLY bugs me out are the people who are paying $2500+ per month to rent a place (yes, TWENTY FIVE HUNDRED PLUS!!) around here. I met a couple that was paying I think $25-2700 to rent a townhouse in River Creek. I was like what the fuck barbeque!!

Don't want to think about affording a house on $120k? Srsly?

Remember, minimum 500k home (Arlington, not in ghetto). I haven't looked too closely since it isn't a reality yet, but I think that would = things would be tighter than they currently are.

lol, its true mainly because kaan's crx will be on its 17th D-series motor which just blew up 2 weeks prior while out in hpde3.

- Apoc - 11-01-2007

Of course it'd be tigher but your rent is silly cheap. I think it all depends on how much you can put down.

A $400k loan on $120k/year is definitely do-able.
