So it turns out that the locksmith broke the ignition mechanism by jamming the newly cut key into it and forcefully turning it so hard. So they're replacing the ignition system for me and they're footing the bill.

Meanwhile I get to drive this pimp ass piece of machinery around... go me!

Final bill was $1,100+ !!!! The locksmith paid the whole bill. At least I got another key out of it (which was my whole goal in the first place at the locksmith) and a free wash / wax of my car =)

whooaaa, holy crap! and i thought my german pile was a money eater. that's hilarious that after all that you got what you actually wanted in the first place plus a free IS350 test drive and a clean car
