it takes about 40 minutes to take the metro from springfield...not kidding, not to mention the parking at the station is still $3.75 or something (yes they still charge you after 8pm - found out the hard way).
just park at the Ballston Common Mall parking garage, it's $1. If you had a bike it'd be free.
If you take I-395N, then take Glebe Rd. - you'll see it on your right. it takes about 25-30 minutes.
i'd go if i weren't meeting up with the softball team at 6 in burke.

No joke, it does take that long from Springfield, longer if its not rush hour. It'd be faster to just drive. You can get away with just parking at Springfield mall for free and walking to the metro though, that's what a lot of commuters do.
