Leave at 5am? Flight leaves at 6:30, so if we get to the airport at 5:30 we should be fine.

- Mike - 07-18-2006

i can do that if you need me... will just mean i get to leave work early Smile

- .RJ - 07-18-2006

Ok, sounds like a good idea... how many can fit in g's truck? Is it still a disaster from the track weekend? My truck is empty right now and seats 5 if everyone wants to meet at my place. My truck needs to go back to my house as my parents will be borrowing it this weekend.

That's cutting it a bit close because they close baggage check at 5:45. Should probably leave at 4:30.

My truck can seat 5.

toilet paper? paper towels?

Ditto - I really would prefer to play it safe on this one...

Do any or all of us need to bring sleeping bags?

- .RJ - 07-18-2006

I'm going to bring an air mattress and possibly a pillow.

- G.Irish - 07-18-2006

Bring a sleeping bag just in case. Air mattress might be nice too but that's your call.

i don't know how cold it can get there at night but keep in mind air mattresses will pull heat away from your body. although, that might be a perfect excuse to find someone to spoon with. Confusedhock:

It gets pretty cool out there, def bring a blanket. I'm gonna bring a set of thermals.

Or we could just burn tires.

- .RJ - 07-18-2006

I'd rather burn anyone wearing Yamaha propaganda.

Ah yeah, it'll be a lot easier to get our hands on some of those than tires.

Eat a D I'll be getting my Yamaha propaganda out there for sure!

As for me I'm just going to bring my duffel bag, sleeping bag, and laptop (work's making me bring it, I'm on call and apparently need to respond within an hour of a call).

- .RJ - 07-18-2006

Shit, laptop and cell phone are staying at home. Fuck work... I already told them I off the radar until 7/31.

I'd make an effort to stay up to speed with work while i was enjoying myself if they made an effort to give me my raise instead of jerking me around for 2 months.

- Dragon - 07-18-2006

Can't avoid it, new project with a deadline of next Fri and I'm going to be gone during the main days of integration. They need me on-call since I designed the one piece of code that's shared throughout the whole application.

- Apoc - 07-18-2006

Your job sucks... but at least you have AIM.

- Feersty - 07-18-2006

Hey Apoc, want to take bets that someone misses their flight?

- Apoc - 07-18-2006

To be completely honest, I was thinking about that earlier today as I was picking my wife up at the airport. I know that certain participants having a penchant for being "fashionably late" and while I don't think anyone will actually miss their flight I am predicting some 6am drama.

Well if one of us misses it, we all miss it.

And if Paul is late we leave without his ass Tongue

- Apoc - 07-18-2006

Agreeing to be transported to the airport with Gerald is dangerous.
