pretty fun weekend. awesome weather, nice cars, and chill times at shoneys. some highlights-
- watching old school the night we got there
- i was assigned corner 4, which was supposed to get very little action. before lunch, there were 3 cars that spun coming out of turn 3, and one particular spec miata landed in the trees about 40 feet from where i was standing at my station
-great racing in small and big bore
-awesome dinner at the track including a keg of newcastle
-chris getting all kinds of drunk and making retarded comments, breaking the toilet, and chucking a bottle on top of the shoney's restaurant
-watching "the worlds worst jobs" with the fellas which included jobs such as "rat whacker" and the guy that cleans up the booths in window strip bars...so many laughs
-getting an ensamble by the black 512TR on the way to the track sunday morning
-good racing all sunday, getting to be involved in using a red flag for teh first time (integra on roof, not really a cool highlight (poor guy) , but a memorable experience)
- WV rice for amusement

You guys had fantastic weather, I wish I could have been there.
Mike your new camera takes great pics, even resized small.
There is a truck class in One Lap, so sure it looks goofy, but I bet it kicks the crap out of the Cayennes.
Im driving Shenandoah next weekend, I cant wait! Ill get video up for it as soon as I get back.

It was a near perfect weekend weather-wise, and I had a great time driving. It was also a very fast weekend, a much needed hit of the crack pipe.

Ran into Joel and Jerry over at the Shenandoah Circuit this weekend, and everybody seems to have mixxed opinions of it. No raves reviews, but there was a lot of criticism of too many 2nd gear corners and the fact that the track was simply too narrow. Should be a good small car track, but I see no way how people are going to pass each other in a race there.

yeah i spoke to gerry, he seemed to like it. the karussel looked plain scary though, people would brake hard as they approcahed it not because you couldn't go fast on it, but because the entrance was pretty damn rough.
