Yeah, FR's are extremely popular with the Terminator crowd. I know a guy through SVTP who has chrome FR's on his DSG...made me think twice about keeping the stock look. Here's a pic of his car -

First turbo door slammer in the 5's. There is a video, a short one of course.

The horrible sound just before launch... the BigStuff 3 is programmed to take all the timing out so that combustion takes place almost entirely in the exhaust manifold which helps to get the turbos spooled faster at a lower rpm. Maybe that's old news in the turbo world, but new to me and I thought pretty damn cool.

Interior is sparse for those interested in that sort of nonsense :wink:

you're right, a sixteen year old civic is far from the lap of luxury, but it trumps the shit out of an sn95.

there are many a day where the idea of driving a mustang pass through my head. it'd do what i need, it sounds great, cheap to go fast, but at the end of the day i have to sit in it and that makes me cry.

What does the quality of materials used and general interior layout have to do with the enjoyment of a car. My Talon has no cup holders, a terribly placed radio and a dashboard that reflects onto the windshield, but it is still a great car to drive... The Rabbit had the best interior in it's class, but it didn't make up for it's complete lack of driving character.

general interior layout have to do with the enjoyment of the car? QUITE A BIT! the one time i drove an sn95 i couldn't position my feet in a way that was comfortable; the gas pedal was far too close to the body, resulting in me having to hit the throttle with the side of my foot.

no domestihate, silly, just sharing how much i dislike the sn95 interior. it's one of the worst i've ever seen, but i still respect the car for what it can do. just like the viper i drove a few month back... the car is a freaking joke and pretty much impossible to be comfortable in, but it's sweet.

AKA called Anti-Lag, I used it to scare the fuck outta people. One friend of mine, she must have jumped 5 feet in the air after I anti-lagged while she was going right behind the car after getting out. I think I used it more to scare people than to actually launch.
