Pick a Photography/Domain Name for RJ - Printable Version +- Madison Motorsports (https://forum.mmsports.org) +-- Forum: Madison Motorsports (https://forum.mmsports.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=3) +--- Forum: Lounge (https://forum.mmsports.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=6) +--- Thread: Pick a Photography/Domain Name for RJ (/showthread.php?tid=7517) |
- .RJ - 02-12-2009 Is 'fullspeedphoto' too limiting to something motorsports related? I was thinking (i know, strange) about that today... while I enjoy the track pictures there's really not much $$ to be made doing that unless you're 'all in' with a euroimage type operation. - Sijray21 - 02-12-2009 what about <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.hirevshots.com">www.hirevshots.com</a><!-- w --> or <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.highrevshots.com">www.highrevshots.com</a><!-- w --> -- they're available i actually kinda like it - Apoc - 02-12-2009 I think so... but there are a lot of photography domains that don't really mean much in context. - Kaan - 02-12-2009 clickypowpixors.com? - Sijray21 - 02-12-2009 Apoc Wrote:I think so... but there are a lot of photography domains that don't really mean much in context. +1 isn't your Dirty Martini Photography or something? i say go with something obscure and catchy. - Apoc - 02-12-2009 Sijray21 Wrote:isn't your Dirty Martini Photography or something? i say go with something obscure and catchy. Yeah. My opinion is you either a) pick something related to your name, b) go with something obscure and memorable or c) pick something related to what you intended to shoot. If you go with option c, you're kinda pigeon holing yourself. That doesn't mean you can't use it, you'll just probably end up explaining it more than you care to. - .RJ - 02-12-2009 'fullspeed' is a lot less limiting than say... 'tracksidephotos' but I agree that in context they really dont mean much. I like to think that if I'm doing freelance work then it doesnt matter one bit once they go past the name - either they like me and the portfolio or they dont. - ScottyB - 02-12-2009 burninatorphotos.com thecameragoeswoowoo.com goldlens.com battlestagephoto.com nikontyper.com - Maengelito - 02-12-2009 RJphotography.com - Apoc - 02-12-2009 Maengelito Wrote:RJphotography.com haha... RjPhotography.com is available as a Premium Domain Name! This Premium Domain Name can be purchased for $2,988.00*. - Sijray21 - 02-12-2009 icantdecideonadomain.com - .RJ - 02-12-2009 yeah i think 'photographic indecision' is a little long
