Engine just fired up, and it holds an idle. Pending no destruction after i fill the cooling system and take it around the neighborhood tomorrow, the car will be ready

I'd love to take you up on that Maeng, and get some cool video hopefully. Jeff, are you still taking the van to this? If so could I get a ride, I can be wherever whenever, thanks. Are people going down on the morning of the 14th and leaving in the evening?

I will have a few seats in my truck (3 or 4) open if someone needs a ride to the track on Friday evening. No need to chip in on gas, I'm going that way anyhow.
Also, I'm happy to give rides in HPDE 3 once I figure out my new tires.

no prob goodspeed. just keep an eye out for the schedule and whenever "HPDE 4" rolls around, i can take you out assuming that none of my students wanna go with me. also, its a full weekend thing, so i'm not sure who'd be going sat morning and leaving sat evening unless we've got some spectators.
also, evan, just lemme know when your friend wants a ride

You're best bet is to work, then you won't have to worry about a hotel room. But it is too late for that.

My car was finished up on Saturday, hopefully everything was installed right

oil change today and the best news is my gauges are working now!!! I think by tightening all the lose wires up I fixed it!
can't wait for this weekend
oh and if any workers are willing to take my camera and snap some pics I'd really appreciate it!
