Thanks guys!!! Adam came up and helped out for a bit this weekend, thanks to him for that. Its all going really well. I am going to turbosunleashed.com right now to order the rebuild. I think I am going to have them lighten the exhaust wheel without clipping it. Its a special service they have. Thanks for the words of support. We were pushing it inside in the pouring rain and all of a sudden both of the front wheels fell sideways and the car stopped suddenly. Turns out the bolts I used to hold together the front wheel bearings were too small and the washers pulled though. Sad It was hard to want to keep going after hearing that CS bearings from timken are $110 a side. Well, more dept I suppose.

awesome progress, i can't wait to see this thing start tearing it up.

Did I move this (from lounge to tech) or did someone else? I don't remember doing it. Would whoever did (assuming it wasn't myself) PM me and tell me why? Also, my post count seems to have dropped... (???)

Anyways, enough with my silly internetpenis-related anger.

Progress of this weekend!!!

The turbo is on its way to AZ for a Turbosunleashed HD rebuild!!

The under hood area was cleaned and painted along with a battery reloacation and a few other little things.

Engine bay and battery location as of purchase.

Anne and Nick came down for the weekend and we all went to the mountain and did some shooting...then worked on the cars. Great fun!

Thanks Scotty. There is tons of stuff to be found around the floor of a garage opened in 1925. lol Smile Well, I guess the body shop wasn't built until 1960something.

Estimate on when it will be done?

Well, no idea as of right now. ASAP!

Looks good Jeff. I had a good time up there saturday and will be spending much more time up there getting anne's turbo swap done and then painting my car.

Nick

Anne's turbo swap will be referred to as "Project K" from now on...top secret.

If you pay .01 to win the auction, and then 18.99 to ship it, don't you pay 19 dollars for it?

- Jeff - 10-31-2005

- Chris - 10-31-2005

looking good! can't wait to see it in person

- Jeff - 11-16-2005

All work and no work on the car makes Jeff a dull boy.... Sad ... Circuit City owns me...and camping this weekend...

- Jeff - 01-05-2006

Well, we are back at it up here in the Sub-NOVA mountains of Woodstock. After MONTHS of waiting...it is HERE!!!!

A TurbosUnleashed HD rebuild Garrett T3....yes I know...nothing special. But hell, its much more boost then we had before, and it was quick as poo as it was.

Next is getting the head done and everything else. I also got off my lazy duff and finished paying for and mounting all those expensive gauges.

The left is the original turbo gauge panel. The bottom is the one I based my panel on, from a turbo lebaron. The 3 gauges: Pyro, Oil press, and water temp are angle mounted.

And the most important of all...

So thats all for now. But this thing should be picking up soon.
