I talked to a guy at Tire rack for a while about my decision. He drove both of these tires in a BMW 330 on a wet and dry track earlier this year. He also drove several others in comparison.

He reccomended the Fuzion ZRi's...

Fuzion is a sub-brand of Bridgstone. They even have UNI-T. He swore and promised me that in the autocross course that these gripped and felt better than all in that price range. He said he was commission only, and even though these were the chepest and he'd get the least commission, he'd reccomend it for my car. I told him what I wanted to do, and he still promised.

SO, I told him that if I'm not happy that I want an exchange, and he agreed. So I'm going to try them out. Crossing my fingers, I'm a little nervious, but I did save a little money and have a Bridgestone based tire (I have never been happier with a tire than I am with the Bridgestone Duler AT Revo's on my truck).

They'll be here Monday, although I won't have them on the car for another month probably.

If anyone has heard bad things about this tire, speak now or forever hold your peace!

i've seen the fuzion guys at all the big events this past year (hyperfizzy, jgtc), but i still have yet to hear a damn thing about them... you'll be our guinea pig, k?

The one negative comment I saw on that Tirerack page was concerning the tread width (Coincidentally, it was from Harrisonburg, VA - someone with a '91 VR4?). Measure them when you get 'em, see if it matches up.

the non Azenis performance falken (ST115 ?) is supposedly pretty good.
Good enough that some guys run them shaved in STS/STX and have done well. and its dirt cheap

that could be the guy with the teal color VR4 I've seen around.
