Gotcha  - .RJ - 02-27-2004 Went over the car this evening to make sure everything was alright after VIR.... Cleaned and lubed the brake caliper slide pins, took a look at the spark plugs, inspected ball joints and bushings, cleaned lug studs and re-applied anti-seize and rotated tires. Also went over all the suspension bolts and make sure that they were torqued properly (factory spec). The bolts that hold the rear upper control arms to the frame were all a bit loose, as was one of the sway bar endlinks. Also removed the heatsheild under the cat as it was rattling, and not getting any better, so thats off the car. ![]() Brake rotor after 3 days @ VIR. They're good for at least 2-3 more weekends. ![]()
- Maengelito - 02-27-2004 [quote=".RJ"] Brake rotor after 3 days @ VIR. They're good for at least 2-3 more weekends. ![]() 5 lug integras sux0rz! - Feersty - 02-27-2004 Impact wrench 0wnz. - Ryan T - 02-27-2004 You had to cut the heat shield off too? Thats how I had to get mine off. - .RJ - 02-27-2004 The 4 10mm bolts that hold the sheild together came right out... I just trimmed off the section next to the secondary O2 sensor so that the upper portion of the sheild could slide out. Didnt really require much cutting at all. [edit] when your car isnt an old, busted pile you dont need to resort to cutting and a smoke wrench to get things done - Kaan - 02-28-2004 but when you work in a metal shop... old busted piles are ok to have ... cause you have all the shit to work with them on... torche, plasma, snips, sheers, etc. - Ryan T - 02-28-2004 The bolts on mine came off no problem. I just could not get the O2 censor to come out to save my life. So I cut the metal out around them. - .RJ - 03-19-2004 W00t, my suspension kit showed up today
- Kaan - 03-19-2004 what suspension you puss!??!! - .RJ - 03-19-2004 Mugen N1 |
