Daytona -Pay off loan used to buy all the parts, irony is working to pay for the parts is keeping me from finishing the car -Assemble engine bolt-ons -"refurbish" my A555 transmission + LSD and moly endplate -Install drivetrain, "tune" -Paint and body work Van -New shocks, struts, and swaybar bushings -Install boost and A/F gauges -Install T-bird intercooler setup -Acquire T3 turbo and g-valve boost controller -Trailer hitch? Omni -Buy and install head and exhaust system -Correct "no start" condition -Give to Sylvia as winter/spare car Challenger -Get dad to buy all the parts needed to get it running -Finish and install dashboard and windows Yeah, its a lot to do in one winter. Most of my energy right now is figuring out how to pay my note on time so I don't shit on my credit. Hopefully I can figure that out soon and move on to getting this shit done! - ViPER1313 - 10-27-2006 SHO Install Headlight Switch Drive That is all  - Mike - 10-27-2006 TurboOmni08 Wrote:Yeah, its a lot to do in one winter. Toss that in and use as beater. 325: 1. In shop getting a new cat as I type this. 2. Install new plugs, valve cover gasket, replace two vacuum fittings. 3. Install new GC gear (rear springs/collars and front camber plates) 4. Address heat/HVAC issue. Then longer term (all for the 325 - more wants than needs, no particular order, and most won't happen) 1. Interior needs work (seats/carpet? dash?) 2. HID's (I'm spoiled by those things) 3. Euro HFM/injectors/chip 4. New muffler maybe, I think the current one will be loud even after the exhuast is fixed. 5. Install A/C 6. 3.25LSD to replace the 3.73 7. Short shifter 8. Some semblance of a heatshield for the intake 9. e36 M3 rack 10. Rear subframe and trailing arm bushings - Sijray21 - 10-27-2006 Dave Wrote:Sijray21 Wrote:1. In retrospect i wish i reinforced the front crossmember and made it a daily driver, but i've made a pretty decent amount of money so far parting this thing out. I'll eventually get another one  - Jeff - 10-27-2006 Mike Wrote:TurboOmni08 Wrote:Yeah, its a lot to do in one winter. Those are just the things I would like to do over the winter if time allows. Really it a list of the next few steps to each given project. I really am focused on working to make money to pay off the note. I might work on getting the turbo and stuff bolted up to the Daytona tomorrow. I am going back to try to positively ID the knocks and bangs in the van's suspension, if I have time, I will hit the tona. - Maengelito - 10-27-2006 my winter plans: STi - pay BJ for that carb0n fiber front lip bling - install carb0n fiber lip bling - replace windshield if it gets worse - possibly get catback exhaust (mmm boxer rumble) Miata - get off my ass and register for mazdaspeed motorsports development program - buy GC perches and springs - buy fat rear sway bar - install said components with the set of koni yellows sitting in my room right now - install exhaust manifold thats sitting in my room right now - buy new front bumper - maybe respray hardtop (jeff, perhaps sometime in the next month or so?) - maybe get another set of wheels and r-comps for feb? - make/buy roof/trunk rack to carry said extra wheels - Evan - 10-27-2006 you actually have to race the car for mazdaspeed support.... - Maengelito - 10-27-2006 i know - Chris - 10-27-2006 Beej Wrote:Then longer term (all for the 325 - more wants than needs, no particular order, and most won't happen) BJ, I have a perfect black dashboard from my parts car sitting in Richmond at my parents place if you're interested. just PM me sometime My projects: -buy and install spec E30 sway bars -fix heater/blower so I can defrost and stay warm -maybe paint car?? -valve adjustment! or look into what is needed to reduce my valve tapping. I swore I'd never do it again unless I sprung for a new one...but now yours fell in my lap. I'll think about it. I'll probably just stop caring and tell people it's the airbag. - JustinG - 10-30-2006 1) DSM Link 2) HID retorfit 3) turn the magic knob until my injectors are maxed out - D_Eclipse9916 - 10-30-2006 ^^^ You better not do an HID retrofit before I actually get done with mine, damn accident taking away all my money. - JustinG - 10-31-2006 well as i said DSMlink is first on the list, plus i gotta start saving for Spring Break 2k7, Viva Las Vegas - ziich - 11-02-2006 Complete motor rebuild coming, but nothing to really be excited about, unless my budget allows for the stroker. I hope the thing just runs right. - D_Eclipse9916 - 11-02-2006 D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:Next year the main focus will be saving for track time...Over the winter, I will finish all of my projects that I have sitting around. I got into an accident 3 weeks ago and bent my front radiator support and everything up front, so its been an expensive and time-consuming project getting this thing back together. Carbon fiber hood is on Aluminum radiator is on More Projects added to the list that I have parts for: SS fuel feed line with fuel filter Underhood Shifter Bearings Aligning up and making my front end perfect, cuz there is a bunch of very small adjustments needed to make it look right - Ryan T - 11-03-2006 Just ordered the parts for the 120k mile maintenance to be completed over Thanksgiving break. The timing belt is called for but I'm not going to do it. I've take the cover off and inspected the entire belt and it looks brand new. It's a non interference engine so I'm not too worried.
