i dont really mind driving but i just want to avoid wear and tear on the car if i can. but if me not driving means putting someone out of a ride then i don't want to do that.

seriously, if everyone wants to just pile into my car, that might be the easiest option. seems like only a few of us are working, so we could pull it off.

i'm workin on this situation my friend. i'll most likely be an audi guy soon.

my other legitimate reason is that my tires are just about toast and im trying to save them up for as many fun roads as possible 8)....once they're worn out im going to sell the rims since the car will be going back to stock eventually.

how the hell did you wear those tires down so fast? when did you get them? i have a feeling my azenis outlasted those suckers even with multiple track weekends and probably 40-50 autox runs.

i bought them used to begin with, that's how i was able to afford them Big Grin one pair had 80% tread, the other pair had 50. i've had 'em on since about march, i think. the other thing is that (A) i made a couple big trips living in SC this summer, and (B) where i live in Roanoke -- when i wasn't in SC -- is all mountain roads, everyone goes through tires fast there. even though i rotate often and have no camber those babies are ready to go in another 3 months i'd say

If you can come, we can take another student who desparately wants to come! We only have 17 in HPDE and 18 instructors. If we can add one more instructor, I would feel safe to take another student!
We only have 9 in HPDE 2, so you may not have a group 2 student. Let me know if you decide to come!

Since it seems those of us going are mainly workers, I prob. won't bring the BBQ bin. It takes up a lot of car space, and workers get free food anyways. If someone really wants it, let me know and I'll work it out.

i couldn't resist heading out for an hour or two with the new camera (was pressed for time, date with ms jessica later). crazy low turnout, some of the school groups had less than 10 people in them, but there were still plenty of offs and wrecks... cold track = teh suck

great weekend as far as the weather. Both days seemed to have a lot of incidents... 3 cars in the trees on Saturday and almost a need for EV in every group.

Flagged turns 10 and 5, and actually enjoyed it a lot more than before, having driven twice now and knowing what the drivers are experiencing.
