Like turned it back in to VW? Did you strip off anything not required for the vehicle to move under it's own power, or were you a decent human being?

I'm decent. 191k miles.. Not much worth stripping but I Did forget to keep my floor mats. All these parts people are tree are trying to strip not worth my time when there's 100k of them in the market

Still waiting for the date to take ours back. Might replace it with a new Golf Sportwagen (base, manual).

I'm kind of a diesel nut for some reason. I want another wagon but it needs to have something special about it. Like the CTS v wagon idea but hate they are still 40k. Probably try to get something in like June because just bought a house so I'll probably sit on this money for a little bit.

Seems like a failed resale / upsell opportunity to me. I would think every dealer would take advantage of free money going into their clients' pockets and a probable need for a new car
