The C.A.R.S. Inc '55 Chevy along with a handful of other cars pretty much started the heads up Fastest Street Car craze of the early to mid 90's popularized by Hot Rod magazine. Here are a couple pics of it after it was totaled at Memphis and then rebuilt, complete in its dark plum livery..... :roll: (prior to this it was black & white)

Yeah that '55 was originally built by Monty Berney back in the early '90s and featured in Hot Rod magazine too. It was then bought by Rick Dyer and run in the fastest street car shootout races where it cleaned up, running 7.70's @ 180. Keep in mind the car was all steel with a full interior when it ran those times.
