no cool gadget recommendations not related to the below but i have way, way too many hobbies and lived in an apartment most of my adult life. suggestions from my experience:
• build models
• build/maintain a small saltwater aquarium
• join a gym
• take martial arts lessons
• raise/care for bonsai trees/orchids
• build a computer/driving sim rig
• buy camping/hiking gear and GTFO every weekend with friends
• buy a mountain bike and GTFO every weekend with friends
• start racing, go broke immediately with friends
• learn to flyfish and GTFO every weekend with quiet friends
• homebrew beer or cider
• find a "maker space" and get into woodworking and turn dead trees into all kinds of cool shit with your hands

If I had a garage I would definitely be toying with something automotive related. Living in a townhouse with only parking spaces has really just killed any kind of want to have a project.
I promise its a lot of fun fixing up an old motorcycle when all you have is a parking spot.

I'm going snowboarding Sunday with my brother in law. I usually go once or twice a year but would like to get more into it. Where are you going?
House with a garage is coming within the next year.

My primal instinct to help continue the destruction of earth by breeding took over. I want more kids even after 1 but I know I wouldn't have time for anything else so I am fighting it. Nothing better than spending time with my son sometimes....sometimes it's hell. Sounds like racing

we're 1 and done over here. love it but a single human is definitely all i can handle.
