Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Mike - 08-22-2011 Read some about El Pres. in AR yesterday. Did you read it in that article that listed 4 other exercises? Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - BLINGMW - 08-22-2011 Mike Wrote:Read some about El Pres. in AR yesterday. Did you read it in that article that listed 4 other exercises? It was maybe an issue or two ago, "handgun 101" or some such thing with yes, some other exercises mentioned (some on the link I posted) Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Ryan T - 08-23-2011 Well after the pre-wedding blowupathon I got the itch for another hunting rifle. I sold my .300winmag back in the winter and I've missed having a big rifle ever since. So I picked up this Ruger M77 in 7mm Remington Magnum. It also has a Konus Pro 3-10x44 scope with an illuminated center crosshair. Havent' had a chance to shoot it yet but I love the stock and the overall look of the gun. ![]() ![]()
Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - CaptainHenreh - 08-24-2011 Check out the Hornady Superperformance 7mm Mag. It's some serious shit. Otherwise, looks good. A silver scope might have looked better with the stainless but whatevs.

A silver scope might have looked better with the stainless but whatevs. A silver scope would have def. looked better but he only had two. One was a funky flat silver color and the other one was a turd. I'm keeping my eyes open for a good deal on a quality silver scope. Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Ryan T - 08-28-2011 So shooting groundhougs in the garden with the 7mm (to the tune of $1.25 a shot) can get expensive real fast just to keep your corn and tomatoes safe. So I picked up a cheap truck gun today. Savage chambered in .223 since I have tons of .223 ammo laying around. Should be fun to shoot. All reviews I've read are good and call it accurate. I've owned/shot plenty of Savages and while they are nothing to hang on a mantle, they get the job done.
Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Kaan - 08-28-2011 a bolt gun for every job! Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Ryan T - 08-28-2011 BTW that's a stolen pic from google images. Mine does not have rings or a scope, which I will hopefully get in short order. If anyone has some weaver style rings and a decent scope they want to donate/sell to me please post it here or PM me. Thanks. Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Apoc - 08-28-2011 Oh hai! ![]()

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Jeff - 08-28-2011 Apoc Wrote:Oh hai! I have pretty much the same gun in 20ga. I think mine is a late 60's. Sweet piece. Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Ryan T - 08-29-2011 Any of you guys know anyone that would want a terrific deal on some .300winmag ammo or .32 auto ammo? The .300 is left over from when I had one and I'm not entirely sure how I ended up with 50 rounds of .32 but I did. Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Apoc - 08-29-2011 Ryan T Wrote:Nice lookin shotty man! Any idea of the age of that gun? I never picked you for a flannel type guy though. The internet says they were produced '54-'61. My dad says he remembers my grandfather having it when he was about 5 (born in '49) so I'd say it's at least 55 years old. The canvas/flannel case and the tube cleaning kit were originally my grandfather's as well. I didn't even know it existed until a few months ago. Apparently my grandfather bought it to go hunting way back when and it sat in a closet both before and after his death in '91. My dad thought to track it down a few years ago and eventually found it with his brother-in-law. My dad never fired it or cleaned. I took it apart last night and holy shit was that a bitch. I don't know if semis have come a long way in 50 years, I didn't have the right tools or I'm just a complete noob (or all three)... but it took me two hours to take it apart completely and get it back together. The good news is everything was in great shape, with only very minor wear on the moving parts and no rust. I'm gonna put it through it's paces in a few weeks and hope it doesn't blow up in my hands. Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Kaan - 08-29-2011 just dont use steel shot in it... and she'll be fine. steel shot might mess and/or damage the choke Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Apoc - 09-01-2011 Anyone in NoVA have one of these I can borrow? I know they're cheap, but I am likely to only use it once and don't want more crap in the house. Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - WRXtranceformed - 09-16-2011 I don't think anyone here lives down this way, but there's a Living Social deal right now for CWP class in Rock Hill, SC....50% off ($85.00) http://livingsocial.com/deals/63281?msdc_id=21&ref=CHADeal091611_21_2163email Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Ryan T - 09-16-2011 WRXtranceformed Wrote:I don't think anyone here lives down this way, but there's a Living Social deal right now for CWP class in Rock Hill, SC....50% off ($85.00) Great state of Va will let you get your permit after a 40 minute long online video for $30. Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Ryan T - 10-02-2011 So when I bought my PF9 I gave my Ruger LCP to my mom to carry. She's a little older and was unable to pull the slide back and it frustrated her and she basically quit carrying it. So I took it to the gun shop and traded it for a Taurus 327 revolver with 2" barrel. It's a little bigger than the LCP and a little heavier but she said she can't even tell the difference in her purse or in her pocket. It holds 6 rounds of .327 Federal, .32Long...or basically any .32 caliber that isn't ACP. Picked up a box of el cheapo ammo and some hollow points for her to carry. Gun shoots nice, not much recoil and the recoil is flat, the barrel doesn't jump up much. Also, picked up a Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 for the Axis. The factory mounts were too far apart so I ordered a Picatinny rail that replaces the two factory mounts and the new scope is on, bore sighted and ready to take out to the range. Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Apoc - 10-22-2011 Anyone catch that show American Guns on Discovery? It's horrible, but the mother and daughter both have really big gun racks. You shoulda seen the stupid ass pink and blue custom stock 50 cal they built. :vomit:
