Re: How bout them skins? - DavidM - 10-14-2010 Yep....watch your back Peyton, you're next. Re: How bout them skins? - WRXtranceformed - 10-14-2010 It's all karma man, you can't go injuring top players like that before it comes back around. Look at the Packers right now as a great illustration of that. Re: How bout them skins? - WRXtranceformed - 10-18-2010 Torain!! Came through on fantasy this week!! Re: How bout them skins? - DavidM - 10-18-2010 Ahaha yep, I rode the Torrain Train to victory this week! Re: How bout them skins? - WRXtranceformed - 10-28-2010 More proof that Haynesworth is a complete pussy and completely overrated. He says it himself in fact: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81baecd8/article/redskins-dt-haynesworth-likes-playing-in-nickel-not-34-defense Re: How bout them skins? - Maengelito - 11-16-2010 between McNabb signing and their stellar performance last night, I'm surprised there isn't any chatter here. Re: How bout them skins? - Mike - 11-16-2010 they're not worth it. they're a 2-7 team that somehow has four wins. Re: How bout them skins? - Mike - 03-12-2012 Same old shit. Get a big name rather than 3 decent names. I thought we had it figured out last year when we built A TEAM from the draft rather than signing once-were stars from free agency? Re: How bout them skins? - Steve85 - 03-12-2012 My only hope is they do it different this time and find up and coming young guys instead. I thought we had it figured out last year when we built A TEAM from the draft rather than signing once-were stars from free agency?+1 RG3 still wont have anyone to block for him. RG3 still wont have anyone to throw to. and without a first round pick for the next 2 years, what are they going to do, sign more overpriced freeagents? thats worked out really well so far. and I seem to be alone but I think the price was WAY too high just to move up 4 spots in the draft. Everything I had read/heard said next years first and a third would be the right price, which seems about right to me too. Of course the redskins grossly overpaid. I thought we had it figured out last year when we built A TEAM from the draft rather than signing once-were stars from free agency?+1 I agree that the price was too high, but when two teams are bidding against each other its going to drive the price up...and shanahan was desperate because if he doesn't make the playoffs this year it'll probably mean the axe. I do think that this move makes us much more attractive for free agents, especially wide receivers, so from that perspective its worth more just RG3. If they can sign a top free agent WR and another good (not great) lineman (and for the love of god a kicker who isn't a huge choke artist) they could win 10 games. Then again they could win 4 and I wouldn't be shocked... Re: How bout them skins? - Apoc - 03-12-2012 They overpaid. A lot. Re: How bout them skins? - WRXtranceformed - 03-13-2012 Typical Redskins move. Have fun sucking for the next 3 years. Re: How bout them skins? - Mike - 03-13-2012 laughing stock of the nfl. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1101208-nfl-cracks-down-on-cowboys-and-redskins-for-cutting-salary-cap-corners Re: How bout them skins? - Evan - 03-13-2012 something fishy about that one. the league approved those contracts. plus packers and bears did the same thing but got no penalty |
