I guess we know who's making the sacrifices now that you've moved in together.

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Mike - 05-12-2011

Ok... we didn't make it to the range last night. Anyone for tonight?

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Apoc - 05-12-2011

Pretty sure they are all out of town and I have not an appropriate firearm. We should play CoD instead.

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Mike - 05-12-2011

i have one that can be shared.

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - mrbaggio - 05-13-2011

Saturday morning maybe.

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Mike - 05-13-2011

will likely be a great time for a BICYCLE RIDE.

what do you shoot? i'm looking to get a feel for other things.

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - KPWSerpiente - 05-13-2011

Where was all this enthusiasm last year when I was in town? I was hitting the range every other week with my ARs.

the inevitably of a zombie takeover was not as clear.

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - mrbaggio - 05-13-2011

Beretta M9 9m. I am only interested in going if it is raining.

I want to "Like" the shit out of this comment and I can't. :?

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - WRXtranceformed - 05-14-2011

Put another 150 rounds through the XDM again today. The gun shot great again. Only had one jam which was BAD...I couldn't even clear it on my own, but I'm pretty new to the gun so I didn't want to make it worse. Had a guy at the range help me clear it. It was a REALLY bad Winchester round. There was like a dent / bad flaw in the casing near the top edge...I probably should have seen it before I loaded it but I didn't. It looked like some kind of manufacturing issue with the bullet.

I shot about 100 Winchester rounds and 50 Federal FMJs and the FMJs actually felt smoother coming out of the gun and I had no jamming issues. Since Federals are cheaper even than the Winchesters I will probably stick with those for target shooting.

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - CaptainHenreh - 05-18-2011

If anyone has been kicking around a handgun purchase, this is an absolutely insane deal:

http://www.palmettostatearmory.com/2208.php

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - WRXtranceformed - 05-18-2011

Holy F that is a killer deal. Ignorant statement here but how big is that thing? Could you concealed carry it?

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - CaptainHenreh - 05-18-2011

It's glock 19 sized. So "compact" vs "duty" size. I think it has a 3.8 inch barrel? So go from there.

eta: You can conceal a AR pistol, if you want to. Just how many clothes do you want to wear?

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - WRXtranceformed - 05-18-2011

3.8 is the same as my XDM, not too bad. So when you order online you have to have a FFL it looks like? That seems like a suck process...

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Evan - 05-18-2011

I did the FFL thing back when AR lowers were unobtanium and it was painless.

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Apoc - 05-19-2011

I find this deal very attractive. :o

Both Mike and I did FFL for our most recent purchases. Easy peasy. Most of the material makes it seem like you personally have to have an FFL; you just need a shop nearby that has one.

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - Mike - 05-20-2011

um that deal is sick. the 2022 handled very well, but if i go sig, i'm going big.

Re: Official MM Firearms Thread - WRXtranceformed - 05-20-2011

Range again on Saturday Smile
