CaptainHenreh Wrote:So I thought about an STI. I really did. I wanted six forward gears. I wanted little world rally elves inside my differentials, making sure every single pony was going to the appropriate corner for maximum hoonage. I wanted big fat brembo brakes. I wanted my asscheeks gently cupped by alcantara, my love handles compressed by race-inspired bolsters. Hell, I wanted USD shocks and aluminum suspension bits.

So I thought about it some more, and thought about the wait I had to incur (and the money I'd squirreled back during that wait) and said "Fuck it,"

Re: Project: Gravel Express MkII mod 0. - Apoc - 02-02-2012

I wish I could un-install SI-Drive on my Legacy. Annoying.

That thing looks strangely like your Mazda3, Rexy. Only faster.

SO Dan came over and did a little alchemy today, but not as much as he'd have liked due to the softness of the paint.

But seriously. Alchemy.

Anyhoo, I installed the front plate today. I figured I'd get hassled without it. But even with the Subaru "install kit" it still boiled down to some bloody self tapping screws directly into the bumper. Sad

I also scored a bunch of STi vinyl stickers, so I put some on my toolkit. Smile In all, today was a good day. Maybe some decent pictures tomorrow?

Very nice purchase

Yeah, see, right now I'm breaking it in. Even cosworth say "Keep it below 4k RPM's for the first 1000 miles." So at the moment it's a bit like driving a

So at 500 miles I'll do an earl change, then probably 1000 miles will see another one. The maybe a...firmware update, then you'll get the "Full Rexy," so to speak.

But at the moment, it's a real snore. As soon as the party gets started, it's time to shift. :finger: *le sigh*.
