Really? The forums are chock full of people talking about 19 - 21mpg. I dont know if they are in fact using tuners or anything - i suspect so for the 21mpg. I dont know that i'll even bother. I dont plan on driving this THAT much...though now that I have a truck, I do keep thinking of more things to do with it.

Check the MY on their trucks. If they're running the 6.0L (2003+), then that's definitely possible on the stock tune. 7.3 = strong & dependable but thirsty sumbitch in stock form.
I'm not saying it's impossible, but I wanted you to know my experience over the past few years. If you hit those numbers, I want to know how b/c I'm either doing it wrong or something isn't right on my truck.

Rgr that. I am thinking about POR15 my oil pan too, in the near future. If I do I'll post a thread or something if possible. My oil pan seems to be rusty but dry, which hopefully means I can stop the rust and not have to do a pan change. How's yours look? Seems like it's pretty much inevitable for any truck that's lived in the mid-atlantic or farther north.

Nice Job!

You should have no problem getting 19 on a stock tune. My brother gets 19.5-20 but his not 4WD, it is a long bed though... Heck I get 18 in the Dually. But I drive slow......
