maybe it compacted over the day or something, but measuring on my trailer a couple hours ago was (only) 18" Fairfax reported 24" IIRC
none of my neighborhood roads are plowed and Im not going anywhere anytime soon

We got over 25" in Vienna
- I work in arlington, Im pretty sure we got close to 30". It was much worse in arlington which is only 10 miles down 66 from my house.

yeah... i live on a fairly busy road and it has yet to be touched. WFH FOREVER! then again, poor excuse; i normally walk anyway.

Shoveled out the front porch, the back driveway/alley, a spot for my truck, and went over to mom's house to shovel them out. I've had enough fucking shoveling.

Looks like we ended up with 32". A plow came through last night but there's still a few inches of hard pack on the roads. I'm just glad to have power, several friends in Bethesda and Fredericksburg have been without power for a while now.

lost power at 9p Fri night, hasn't been restored as of 3p Sunday. However, 4wd on the truck works great and we were able to get all our fridge stuff in the coolers, so we're nice & warm in Richmond and didn't lose any food. Looking forward to the extra 30 mins added to my commute tomorrow...

back injury means no shoveling for me. paid a guy in a bobcat $15 to do my driveway, if any neighbors complain about my sidewalks not being shoveled id be happy to shovel their face.
