- Ginger - 08-20-2007 That, and it was a crap car. I don't think he wants us to tell him what car he wants, anyway, he seems decided. - D_Eclipse9916 - 08-20-2007 Adam dont even try, these guys hate every car but their own, its pretty much that way. If I posted up a link with a 1g everyone would have dissed it just as much finding reasons to hate it. We do the same thing, saying not a supra but our cars cause we dont like the supra. Goodspeed has his heart set and shit thats what matters. I poke fun of everyone's cars and I dont necessarily agree with your SHOs the way you do, but you have your heart on them, and shit thats what fucking matters. Go Supra, or nice 240sx. Get an s14 instead of a s13, more beautiful cars. - .RJ - 08-20-2007 D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:Adam dont even try, these guys hate every car but their own, its pretty much that way. True story  - Scott - 08-20-2007 Goodspeed Wrote:Andy Wrote:You could swap in a manual trans and have a pretty sweet car In TN you don't have to get your car inspected each year (or at all). My uncle lives there and ever time I visit I cannot believe what trash is on the road - BLINGMW - 08-20-2007 Goodspeed Wrote:and am now leaning towards buying anything with wheels that runs and has seats. well.... how about a nice '91 318i? Airbag, ABS, lots of room since it's a 4DR, 160k miles, runs fantastic, good compression, air fuel was dead on at the dyno, 35MPG on the highway. H&R race springs, Bilsteins, strut bar, good brakes, actually looks nice, it's a fun car. A great DD and if you wanted to dabble in autocrossing or do a track event (it has a LSD), it is ready to go. It's got "race" seats in it right now, but finding stock e30 seats is pretty darn easy. I'm thinking less than $3k? Delivery to H'burg quite available.
- .RJ - 08-20-2007 Only slightly wrinkled, right?
- BLINGMW - 08-20-2007 Fender has been located, I could get it shipped and bolt it up no problem. (Goodspeed, it was involved in MINOR tire wall contact first time at VIR. No mechanical damage, I haven't bothered to fix it, but if you're interested, I'll get motivated and it'll look good as new once I get that fender on there. Or not, if you want it cheaper.) the only decent (though very small) pics of it: http://www.europrints.us/07vir07/Saturd ... /index.htm - Goodspeed - 08-21-2007 Haha, a lot has happened in my absence...well I'm back in the 'burg and still looking. i'm willing to take the bus for a week or two if it gives me that much more time to find the right MK3 or 240. Thanks for all the offers though! - BLINGMW - 08-21-2007 call me in a week when you're still walkin. No love for the e30 at all? - xvxax - 08-21-2007 I've got love for the e30, but how about some e21 love in the house? I'll sell you one for $75. Antique plates! No inspection! Buy Buy - Scott - 08-22-2007 Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TURBO-SUPRA-HOT-AND-FAST-NO-RESERVE_W0QQitemZ270157504662QQihZ017QQcategoryZ6447QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem - Dave - 08-22-2007 I'm sorry, but I'd have a hard time buying a car from somebody who let their little brother make their ebay ad. Buyer beware...:-) - CaptainHenreh - 08-22-2007 Scott Wrote:Ebay: Goodspeed, Dude, I'll deliver it for you. - Chris - 08-22-2007 Dave Wrote:I'm sorry, but I'd have a hard time buying a car from somebody who let their little brother make their ebay ad. I would stay very, very far away. The guy I bought my BMW from was an idiot and it caused me a lot of problems. the fact that he was an idiot is also the reason why Chan was able to practically steal that thing out of his front yard for what he/you paid  i wish you were there to see his face when it started up and drove off....poor guy - Goodspeed - 08-23-2007 CaptainHenreh Wrote:Scott Wrote:Ebay: Looks tempting, I'd be a little weary of buying a car off of ebay however w/o seeing and driving it in person...wanna check it out for me? - Chris - 08-23-2007 ScottyB Wrote:Chris Wrote:hell yeah! The guy I bought my BMW from was an idiot and it caused me a lot of problems. haha, Chan is good like that  - Goodspeed - 08-23-2007 Also, RJ, are you actually willing to possibly go down and get the car this weekend or something? The car from TN is still for sale, I was thinking of offering him a bit more than his asking price to drive half way or something. If anyone has a truck and trailer that would like to help out that would be awesome. The car doesn't have working turn signals so I'd rather trailer it - BLINGMW - 08-23-2007 Goodspeed Wrote:The car doesn't have working turn signals so I'd rather trailer it:lol: man, from experience, most cars on the road don't seem to have working turn signals. I'm pretty sure only mine work. And, strangely enough, my parent's cars turn signals never work, but they do when I drive them! Odd. ScottyB Wrote:i wish you were there to see his face when it started up and drove off....poor guygood times  - HAULN-SS - 08-23-2007 goodspeed..you're negotiating like a woman. if it's still for sale - tell him you'll pay his gas costs to meet you halfway. |
