Just checking in - as of this morning I have 3 level 2 clayfields, one level3 crop, 2 level 2 crops, one's everywhere else.
All my buildings are built, level 3 cranny, and level 3 main building. I'm gonna work on the embassy next so I can form the alliance - it's level 2 now, but it's gotta be level 3 before I can form an alliance

No clue where I am but I'm sure it is far away. I got like 30 people, aall the resources are level 1 or 2 and the barracks are going up now.
We should be on the lookout for a server reset. If we got a bunch of us in early and near each other that would be nice.

This one just reset like a week ago. Apparently it takes like a year and a half for the game to end on a regular speed server(this one)...so I think we'll be alright..we're pretty near the beginning.
I think most of us are in the northwest..or at least the north.

Ive been attacked three times already...
Its so nice starting out by a bunch of people with 100+ inhabitants.
Now im just building a trapper ASAP and am going to try and get some troops.
atm im sitting at 34 people with a bunch of lvl 2 croplands and everything else lvl 1.

Just for a tip for anyone playing teutons - raiding is the shit. Build a rally point, barracks, and level your main to 3, make at least 2 troops, and start raiding all the villages nearby with less than 60 people. Steal everything you need =)

You should be safe when attacked with 14 days of starting the game. I read they gave you a grace period. Also build a cranny to hide your gear.

The grace period changes depending on where the server is in the game. Since we started just as the server was reset, it was only 4 days.

Just for anyone who cares: Always attack romans at low level, they are most likely to be defenseless because their units are so expensive. For Teutons, you can raid a 60 pop town with 2 units, 6 for Romans, and 13 for Gauls and generally be ok.
...i'm talking about the first low level units you can make iny our barracks.

I have a population of 34 and didnt even make a barracks =-( I just didnt figure people would be this ruthless. Needless to say thats the next thing im making once i lvl my main building one more lvl to lvl 3.

Yeah I got hit 4 times today as well. On the fourth I trapped a few of their ppl and they haven't come back since. I need like 100 more of each resource for a barracks and then its on

i finally got my barracks built today and such - it's pretty awesome raiding people. My soldiers have already paid for themselves

Raiding starts tomorrow for me. I've got just under 50 people and mostly all level 2 resources. Probably make 8 soldiery guys and hit every town I can which is pretty much every one I can see as I'm the most developed in my grid. Going to be swimming in resources soon.
