Then they would just deny it, tell everyone its their wife's car, and talk about how pro-environment they are
- ultimagtrlover - 01-31-2007 MidasHands! How are you? It's Ciro! I am glad to see you finally found this forum. I hope all is well with you. When there are autocrosses in the Tri-state area, I will certainly let you know. As for turbo kits, there area couple manufacturers out there for the Elise. Forced Fed and Hass are the two most well-know around the Elise community. Expect to pay between $10,000 and $14,000 for about 270hp at the crank. FYI everyone...The Elise put down about 171 at the wheels stock, which makes me cry b/c my 215 hp rwd car makes only 168 at the wheels. The Exige S for '07 comes with a supercharger. 230 hp is what u get from 190 in the Exige - ScottyB - 01-31-2007 i would imagine you could build yourself a turbo celica engine for quite a bit less if you are inclined to do your own tuning and sourcing. that's a freaking load of cash - MidasHands - 01-31-2007 Hi Ciro, You must be spending too much time studying and not enough time on the forum. I joined on Monday and it took you two days to see this??? : ) I actually officially joined the club yesterday when I sent my paypal payment in. I wish we could have gotten that drive in before you left. Now its snowy and theres salt on the road so I don't get to drive her that often. Talk to ya soon! Mike - Feersty - 01-31-2007 Midas your posting like crazy man. My cousins live in Trenton, horrible area. - Chris - 01-31-2007 Feersty Wrote:Midas your posting like crazy man. My cousins live in Trenton, horrible area. he'll never come close to you  - ultimagtrlover - 01-31-2007 Ya, I've been studying too much to even take much of a look at the forums lately. I am taking the infamous COB 300, plus a finance course so I am trying to really manage my time so I can acheive the goals I have established before the semester. Ironically, I would have not known about this thread if my friend (Ryan Farrel) did not tell me about it! It's good to see you on the forum though. Certainly when I get back to NY I would like to set-up a drive. Heck, in the next couple of weeks I will propose a day to the forums! - MidasHands - 01-31-2007 Feersty - funny you should say that. Typically I would not post as much on a car forum because I don't know that much about cars and I really don't want to feel stupid about asking a dumb question. But some of the stuff you guys post is pretty funny and even when you bust jokes on each other it seems to be all in fun. So I guess I'm just having fun too. Ciro - when is Spring Break? You think we can find some time for a drive then? - ScottyB - 01-31-2007 MidasHands Wrote:I don't know that much about cars and I really don't want to feel stupid about asking a dumb question. we were all n00bs once...you gotta learn somehow. nobody here is going to make fun of you with any kind of seriousness. you will find that this club is really tight knit and most everyone who knows each other looks out for each other in a car-guy kind of way that's the other thing, we rip on each other all the time...even in what looks like heated debates it's mostly just bullshitting  - ultimagtrlover - 02-01-2007 MidasHands Wrote:Ciro - when is Spring Break? Asking "dumb" questions is not bad around here, b/c chances are there are several people who don't know and want to, and at least one on here (if not several) can answer in lots of detail (sometimes b/c of personal experience. You nailed it with the personality of our club. It's a shame so many new members come on here and get all butthurt b/c we rip on each other, but thats just how we are b/c we are ALL good friends; this isn't a massive interweb forum. WELCOME!!!! - PDenbigh - 02-01-2007 Dave is gay, btw, so watch out. - HAULN-SS - 02-01-2007 I dont know about yall, but i'm never joking on here. - .RJ - 02-01-2007 Serious cat! - ScottyB - 02-01-2007 ![]() edit: argh RJ beat me, kinda - CaptainHenreh - 02-01-2007
