I'd love to get a MMer for my instructor. How does the instructor/student choosing process work? this will be my first DE.

- getfast - 03-16-2007

Email any special requests to Jeremy and Eric the R32 guys...

Jon

Intermediates don't have instructors? On Shenandoah? Confusedhock:

- getfast - 03-16-2007

That was my understanding, because it was basically a "HPDE2.5" group.

I'll check with the R32 guys to find out for sure.

Jon

intermediate had instructors as an option - it was stated on the site and it also had the check box or choice when you signed up.

Since i only have 10 days under my belt i'm in Novice. So i'll have an instructor.

edit: i also emailed Eric regarding the tech inspection and registration in winchester between 1pm and 7pm on Friday...the traffic will be hell and i'd rather not go through it if i can help it. Not to mention it'll be way out of my way just to get it inspected the night before...i would think they'd have this at the track the first day of the event....

edit v2: i recieved the email back from Eric. they'll be having a tech inspection 6:30-7:30am on saturday.

Do they have a Pre-Tech sheet that we can look over before heading to the track?

- Mike - 03-17-2007

ask them!

- navin - 03-17-2007

Weeerd.

I might actually be dropping out of this event. I was placed in Intermediate, but I feel I should be in Novice. So I'm hoping there are some spots left.

- getfast - 03-19-2007

Their pre-tech form is almost identical to the NASA one:

http://www.nasaproracing.com/images/rul ... e_tech.pdf

Hope it helps,

Jon

Navin,

Just request an instructor. I would honestly try to do one event with the new suspension before Shen though.

- navin - 03-19-2007

Well I'm out actually, I think I just signed up because i was stoked to have the car on the ground and running right.

My priorties were not in order, I'd like to thank Jermey with the r32 club for this kindness in dealing with my refund/questions, and I cant wait to run an event with them.

why? shen is close to home (in case something breaks), and as rj said, it will tell you exactly what is up with your suspension.

That's weak shit, Navin. How about you come to an autox with me to check out the new suspension?

- navin - 03-20-2007

Priorties as in school is coming first, I have a shit ton of work that is due and taking a weekend to goto a track that will be there in summer is dumb IMO.

I def. plan on autoxing the car a couple of times just to shake the car down and what not, and really im not even worried about the suspnion changing the car that much.

- Mike - 04-21-2007

just added registration. my to do list: maybe care about the lightly dragging caliper, maybe clean interior, mount harness, maybe new exhaust, maybe install header, change oil/filter.
