- Andy - 06-07-2006 so when are you going to take that to the track? - Sijray21 - 06-07-2006 Andy Wrote:so when are you going to take that to the track? i'm not sure if he would want to
- HAULN-SS - 06-07-2006 heh - ive never been to a track before other than the drag variety. I have actually picked this up, btw, i was just posting some pics of it. I wont know for sure if I'm getting it til saturday-ish. Hopefully the guy doesnt sell it out from under me or anything stupid like that. It would be the best of any of my cars to take to the track I'm certain for handling capability. I dont want to end up with a busted pile though - and since I'm a track newb, thats what would scare me about taking it out. - Sijray21 - 06-07-2006 i would bet that you couldn't afford to lose it, so i would be hesitant to bring it to take on track for that reason - if i bought a new or newer car i probably wouldn't take it to the track immediately - CaptainHenreh - 06-07-2006 20k, eh? Very nice. I think they look alot better than the Impreza, a little more "sports sedan" a little less "boy racer". - WRXtranceformed - 06-07-2006 Very nice score, you will love that car for sure. PM me if you end up deciding to modify it and are looking at routes to go. - Mike - 06-07-2006 congrats! now make it look like that jdm legacy... that = drool. - JustinG - 06-07-2006 speakin of that legacy, they have a JDM version that is a 2.0L TT, sick - Nis01 - 06-07-2006 Nice buy! I really love the GTs. I'm sure you will enjoy it. - Dave - 06-07-2006 that's hawt! Nice find. - HAULN-SS - 06-08-2006 Hrmm - test drove an automatic tonight too - same price range, same miles....decisions decisions. I really want to get back into a straight drive - since my other cars are auto - just not sure if I'm going to want to do it all the time. I'm leaning toward the manual - but I think I've decided that if the dealer gets me a better interest rate than my bank, might go with it, since the straight is private seller. Bustin your balls to make a buck makes you think about these things too, unfortunately. - ScottyB - 06-08-2006 i think you owe it to yourself to get the manual 8) ...especially with it being a "smaller" engine. some days i'm sure it will be annoying but given the right road and the right time, you'll be thanking yourself you aren't driving a slushbox. - JustinG - 06-08-2006 doesnt the auto have the sporttronic tranny??? - G.Irish - 06-08-2006 Eh sport-shift autos are so worthless you might as well not use em. Get the manual, any time you row through the gears or execute a perfectly rev-matched downshift you'll thank yourself. - JustinG - 06-08-2006 they have come a long way, and certain systems are better than others, i actually think the EVO X will have a variation of it with paddle shifters  - Evan - 06-08-2006 HAULN-SS Wrote:Hrmm - test drove an automatic tonight too - same price range, same miles....decisions decisions. Awesome looking car. I'm with Evan on this one, go for the manual, if you've already got two automatics, you need a manual.

I actually looked at a 2003 X-type jag today too - they're like cheap as shit for some reason |
