must be due to those terrible rotary emmssions

- Feersty - 12-11-2005

Decided, now its a matter of getting my fizunds together.

- WRXtranceformed - 12-11-2005

w00t I'm glad you liked it Rob ^_^

- Chris - 12-11-2005

please just buy something!

- damnit458 - 12-11-2005

Well im glad you seem to have settled on Lee's car Rob. Im sorry that you got the impression that my car was sold at the time you PM'd me. Had you offered 3k at that time the car would have been yours, but your PM made it sound to me like you were not completely sure you were interested in buying an EG hatch. Anyway, Lee had a hell of a wrx, and im sure if you can reasonably come up with the funds you wont regret your purchase

- Andy - 12-11-2005

Don't let RJ and Mike talk you into letting them drive your car on track. Big Grin

Big difference between the hatch and the WRX...Lee's car is alot for someone who is new to boost Confusedhock:
With that being said...goodluck with the search Fersty.

Can I just say, somewhat off-topic, that my STI is a lot for someone (me) who has been used to b00st for a year lol!

What's ironic is that both cars are running 19psi, but both cars are so much different from each other.

- JackoliciousLegs - 12-11-2005

Damn... the environment must be HURTIN... bad... lol

- Jeff - 12-12-2005

Buy the WRX, remove the cat and any other emissions stuff... Job security for Feersty. Seriously though, if you do get yourself some boost just be careful. SRT-4's, EVOs, and WRXs get a lot of people killed. All that power...mmmm...stock.

- ScottyB - 12-12-2005

yeah, that's alot of power to have at your disposal as the next step up from a buick. just be mature about when to use it of course.

i'm sure you'll enjoy it though, wish my ride was that smoof!

Lee's WRX is far from stock.... FAR from stock

- Feersty - 12-12-2005

I don't have it yet.

- Mike - 12-12-2005

so you're throwing in the towel?

- Feersty - 12-12-2005

No not at all, just tired of people saying I can't handle the speed of the car and that I will get in a wreck. I am still very much interested and I am transferring funds as we speak.

- Feersty - 12-12-2005

Andy Wrote:Don't let RJ and Mike talk you into letting them drive your car on track. Big Grin

They didn't let me, so I won't let them.

- Mike - 12-12-2005

so you don't have to live off ramen noodles and at home for the next five years: a common rule of thumb is to not spend more than 1/3 of your annual income (pretax) on a vehicle.

sorry lee, as much as it may appear i hate rob, we do actually get along, and i couldn't let him spend that much money without a warning.

- .RJ - 12-12-2005

Even 1/3 on just the car is too much - even if you add insurance and maintenance into that figure, 1/3 is s till too high. I make decent money but I'm capping my truck budget at $10k. I could go in and buy a brand new F150, but I'd rather have $$ for other things.

- Mike - 12-12-2005

kind of agreed. i'm doing the 1/3 thing and when i move out i'll still only be about breaking even every month unless i seriously curb my spending habits.
