It turned out that the battery (an Optima Red Top) was holding me back. I dropped a $40 "DuraCrap" battery in, and it fired right up.

As for the hesitation, the battery may have fixed it too. Although in between the new battery today, I replaced most of the grounds in the engine compartment, and cut/re-soldered a section of the positive battey cable. New terminals too. And....

I gots me a job now, so the Daytona will be slowing down quite a bit. But it was anyway because I am out of money and have maxed my credit at the garage. Circuit City owns me now. Roadshop installer. ehh...better then dining services.
