- G.Irish - 08-19-2005 Don't waste your time relating to other people's failure. Spend your time relating yourself with other people's success. - Sijray21 - 08-19-2005 Feersty Wrote:This Suuuuucks. My buddy has been looking for a job all summer he has finally decided to do clerical work starting next Monday at a law firm for $12.00 an hour. He was a International Relations major at Mary Washington, so it is understandable that he has not been able to find anything.tell him to apply at the department of State, they have plent of entry level openings for diplomatic positions and international relations usajobs.gov has quite a few -- highly paid internships and entry level positions. - JackoliciousLegs - 08-19-2005 You can always apply to carmax for an interim job. - Sijray21 - 08-19-2005 i'm actually enteraining the thought of having a lax second job with some kick ass benefits anyone know of any? weekends only though. thought about All-Sports ![]() Off topic and it's still completely relevant to the Topic Title....i've betrayed the protocol for mmsports.org/forum hock:

It is just too damn far away from me here in Springfield, and gas is just so damn expensive here. I don't think that is the type of work for me anyways. - Sijray21 - 08-19-2005 Feersty Wrote:JackoliciousLegs Wrote:You can always apply to carmax for an interim job. dude...you could've sold it for double that, especially since it was running, lol Gas is a bitch btw, i anticipate your next arrival. - Feersty - 08-19-2005 theguywiththeSi Wrote:Feersty Wrote:JackoliciousLegs Wrote:You can always apply to carmax for an interim job. Yeah my bro just went off to Tech and that was the car that he was driving. We had no use for it anymore. My dad drives the Element, my mom the Civic, I the S-10 so no use for the Oldsmobile. My dad wanted to stop paying for maintenace and insurance on it. We did sell it with the MM sticker still attached  - ScottyB - 08-19-2005 Feersty Wrote:We did sell it with the MM sticker still attached  it pays to advertise  - Sijray21 - 08-19-2005 Feersty Wrote:My dad wanted to stop paying for maintenace and insurance on it. yeah i understand why you wanted to, but you could've gotten atleast $500 for it on craigslist or something i hear you on old-car maintenance, but the insurance couldn't have costed that much, i pay $170/year for the VW on my own insurance...lol. Tax is free . Makes me want to sell the integra and save $2k a year.

My dad sometimes gets impulsive when it comes to cars, sometimes he just wants to be rid of the strain and not have it take a long time. He is a nurse and works 12 hours a day and on his days off he plans to do something and likes to get it done within that day. - Dave - 08-19-2005 Feersty Wrote:This Suuuuucks. International relations is just as marketable as anything else. The key is making yourself marketable and well rounded so that your employer can see that you can be a productive member. As for his job, I'll take it. I work in the parts dept of a car dealership and I make a lot less than that (and no, I'm not an idiot; i know cost of living is different). - John - 08-19-2005 theguywiththesi Wrote:dude...you could've sold it for double that, especially since it was running, lol Yes - catering.
