Does anyone have contact info for VA mustang or an individual who can judge domestic vehicles fairly? Also same ques. for Imports (although one of our famous alumni may do this).

judging should be a panel of three... can mix and match... ;-) i'll do it all! Its our show... let MM peeps do it... three people have a better eye than one! i wana see some JDM bling yo... even on the domestics ;-)

What do you think about a drive through campus on Friday the 16th? I think that with our modded cars being loud enough to draw attention one at a time, if there were about 10 of them in a row that we would get some heads turning. One idea I had was to put shoe polish on the side windows and each car would have one letter. In the line they would spell:
M M C A R S H O W
And the last car could say "Tomorrow C4 Lot" on the back window.
I'm thinking around 11, 12 or 1 o'clock would probably have the most traffic for an audience.
Maybe we could even tip off someone at the Breeze to take a pic of the publicity stunt. It might not be in time for the show but if it makes the paper, it's still good for the club. Any takers? If so, what time works best for you?[/code]

Sean mentioned that you might need to use my truck to haul the generator, etc. That's cool with me! (as long as I'm driving it).
Just let me know what you need in as far advance as possible because I have a couple other projects going on this weekend.

with all this planning, dont forget the little stuff like flyers/posters pointing people in the right direction to put up the day of, cash box for the entry fees, keeping track of votes for best in show, etc.

If you guys need the services of my truck, I need to know as soon as possible so that I don't sit around all morning waiting. Dave, you IM'd me that you'd like some stuff for the after-show events, that's fine with me! As for the generator, tables, or whatever else a pickup truck is good for, who is going to contact me and at what time? Be sure to leave enough time to strap stuff down, and for Rockingham rentall to mess up...
