- Mike - 04-01-2004 You bitches better be ready to help with a rear disc swap too. If I don't get the lines though (don't think I'll be able to) we'll just have to figure out whats wrong with my pedal. - Dave - 04-01-2004 I don't much care where I get assigned, though I think I'd prefer one of these floater positions with T&S, party setup, etc. Perhaps we can work something out where we switch up On Sunday, so that everybody will get to do everything? Just a thought, either way, we're all leaving after the final race and won't have much in the way of free time. As for you being back in the game plan, you're a douche and you know this, but your attendance will make this much easier on all of us . Did you acquire seat belts for the rear too? Still planning to leave at noon as before, correct? Thanks for changine your mind. BTW, there should be no caliper swapping while we are at the track, IMO, just to prevent any further complications. Although, I am all for doing it in the Burg when we get back next week. - Chris - 04-01-2004 im not riding in your piece with no brakes! u crazy fool, want to take your car and mine now? damn mike, making everything complicated... - Mike - 04-01-2004 Brakes are fine (lots of pedal travel but I was able to lock em up in the dry) for the trip down. I want to do the swap down there since the weather is nice, I'm getting the parts down there, there is a lot of expertise available at the track, and I've got an appointment to flush the brake system on Wednesday - hopefully I can cancel it. No I wasn't able to find any rear belts. I'm driving, up to y'all if you wanna take Chris' too. - Chris - 04-01-2004 I've decided to drive. Ryan and I feel its a long drive not to have belts, plus it would be more comfortable. We'll meet at Chasers shortly afternoon Friday like the ORIGINAL plan... damn mike - .RJ - 04-01-2004 Chris Wrote:We'll meet at Chasers shortly afternoon Friday like the ORIGINAL plan... damn mike WTF? So are you guys going to be at Tony Romas @ 4 or not? I'm going to eat at 4 whether j00 phuckers are there or not, and then haul ass to the track. - Mike - 04-01-2004 What's the rush to get to the track? We leave here at 12:10, arrive in Charlotte around 4, eat til 5, arrive at track by 6. - Mike - 04-01-2004 Weather Forecast for Harrisonburg, VA: Friday - 51 and rain Saturday - 56 and clear Sunday - 48 and rain/wind/snow Weather Forecast for Kershaw, SC: Friday - 61 and clear Saturday - 67 and clear Sunday - 67 and clear HAHA SUCKAS!!!! Have a nice and miserable weekend. - Mike - 04-01-2004 Oh yeah, I thought about the brake swap and decided it'd be better to fix the first problem before potentially adding more. So the mission is so solve the squishy brakes, then if that goes well we can think about the swap. - Kaan - 04-01-2004 so are we meeting you donkeys or what? i mean if we arent i might like to sleep in on a day i took off to go "WORK" at the track ... sheesh - BLINGMW - 04-01-2004 huh, I can't think of the last time I bothered putting on a seatbelt in the back of anyone's car. In fact, I can't remember any MMers riding with me in the back that did either. In DOUBLE FACT, you talked it over with RJ, who agreed it was a bad idea? The same RJ that rode bitch seat (on the center plastic blades) and fell asleap in G's car? Don't think there were any seatbelts involved in the back on that trip. Are you all just older and wiser now? Glad you guys are so concerned with safety! Or maybe just no-one wants to ride with Mike? Anyway you guys work it out.... glad you all are coming! - Mike - 04-01-2004 Kaan Wrote:so are we meeting you donkeys or what? i mean if we arent i might like to sleep in on a day i took off to go "WORK" at the track ... sheesh Ryan is all crying and shit.... Mapquest says 305 miles from the 'burg to Tony Roma's. On 81 and 77 I KNOW I can safely average 75mph the entire way, and assuming we all empty out before we leave we shouldn't have to make pisser stops. 305 miles is around 7.6 gallons for me, so we won't have to stop for gas either. 305/75 = 4 hours. We leave a little after noon, we will arrive a little after 4. Yes, mapquest does say 5 hours, but I just don't see how that can be (unless you go 60mph). - Ryan T - 04-01-2004 Mapquest averages the speed a little slower than the actual speed limit. It also accounts for stopping time ever few hours. - Mike - 04-01-2004 Mapquest style != MM style. - Dave - 04-02-2004 so the answer is... YES we are meeting you cocks at Roma's at four. We'll call you if anything changes. AIGHT?!? - BLINGMW - 04-02-2004 anyone have an MMsticker they can donate to me? I'll even pay dues! My E30 is currently unaffiliated oh, and Jess and I will prob be at executioner around 9. I'll keep in touch. ohohoh! And does anyone need brake pads or fluids? - Mike - 04-02-2004 What kinda fluid you got and how cheap? - Mike - 04-02-2004 BLINGMW Wrote:anyone have an MMsticker they can donate to me? I'll even pay dues! My E30 is currently unaffiliated I was supposed to get a call Tuesday to pick them up. I did not receive the call, and I've been too busy with other club stuff to get around to it. I'll try to get a hold of the sticker folks early tomorrow and hopefully get them to bring down. - Dave - 04-02-2004 off we go! - BLINGMW - 04-04-2004 whooohooo! I had a blast. Took down some fast cars and learned a lot about my new (old) car. Azenis rock. Need to do something about overheating problem. Brakes (despite the rear drums) were surprisingly good. My power is laughable. Most shifting I've ever done on track. Anyone else? |
