This is a must do, so good looking.  I don't hate that hatch spoiler either. I should have done the protector for the rear bumper/hatch because I already made a small mark on mine thanks to a costco box full of crap. Where did you order it from?

Straight from LaminX

Should have a delivery date sometime this afternoon.

Car arrives tomorrow.

Surfing F30 post and came across some new in box H&R Springs for $200. Which would be the height of the previously posted red car. About 1.5 in drop.

Or a set of 15k mile used ACS springs for $150, about a 1in drop.

Looks like the major difference is in the rear, front looks very close. Also, wheel/the size should be the same as mine in these pics.

if you're hauling family and gear in it, i'd pick the lesser drop or you'll be on the bumpstops if you load that thing up. plus the roads in Richmond aren't that good if i remember well from the last time i went up there for karting...bump travel is nice to have

H&R.

Richmond roads are fine outside of the city and 195(obviously has to be a toll road that's poop)

So, I see we will be battling it out in the classifieds over at F30Post Smile (Going Dinan here, similar to ACS)

The more I think about it, as much as dumping this thing would look awesome, I'm worried it'll kill the drievability.

Probably going ACS. And thanks RJ, looks like I can use those bump stops or apparently BMW makes a shortened bump stop? Need to figure that out.

RE: Project: AWD Turbo Family Hauler (PART DEUX) - Apoc - 04-03-2018

FWIW, the bump stops are pretty easy to reach if you load it up for a road trip. We're not overpackers by any stretch and you can definitely tell the car is riding low, even at highway speeds. I was pretty much riding on the rear stops when I had eight bags of mulch (240 lb). Yeah, you can use the CX-9 but you aren't gonna want to.

yea yea....

If I don't like the look of the ACS springs, I will buy the H&Rs and just sell the ACS.

2-3 sets of H&R springs FS on the F30 post classifieds over the past 2 weeks. So they come up often enough, and if i get impatient a new set doesn't kill the bank.

I must be the old guy, but i kind of think that red one looks too low anyway, especially at that angle
