That's what I've read when I was doing research on everything. Just takes some reading around on the interwebs to learn things for yourself. Some people just read one place and accept it for fact.
Edit: also about the Ohlin length. I wasn't just comparing it to my car I was comparing it to other cars coilovers I've seen as well.

It kind of felt like there were 3 conversations going on. I couldn't keep track either FWIW. However, I just want to point out I made quite a few posts about a near full suspension rebuild on my SS lately. Not in a video game. 8)

I looked for a way to break out the suspension travel conversation into a seperate thread but couldn't figure it out. Anyone else with modding permissions is welcome to poke around and see if they can figure it out.
For what it's worth, my question about suspension travel came from genuine curiosity. I always thought my car looked ridiculous on jacks because it looks like the wheels are gonna fall out of it, it never occurred to me that might not be a bad thing.

It's almost like this forum is a central point of communication for a large group of college friends spanning 15 years, and not all of us have matching levels of interests in the same types of racing, cars, and other hobbies. If a thread isn't interesting to you don't read it. :dunno:

DJ, i found the secret to hooking up on corner exit. 50 lb/in springs in the rear and a front sway bar made from an old driveshaft.
