I am on the fence about shocks. Stock shocks arent leaking and seem to work as they should, but FSD's would be an improvement... of course, if I'm tearing into the suspension maybe I should start replacing control arms and balljoints. Rabbit hole.

DJ, can I rent time on your lift? It looks like a fairly straightforward install, but a lift will certainly make things easier.

Shouldn't be a problem, how soon? Race car comes off the lift next wednesday/thursday and I can forgo throwing the LS1/M3 back up on the lift as I wont have the replacement motor till later this month. I am installing an anchor in the ground to winch stuff up so if we have to move a non-running car off the lift it won't be a big deal if it has to be january/february timeframe.

I was being facetious in my use of "lame."
