Check out some craigslist "scrapers" -- there are scripts written by people that you simply plug in the values of the item you want and it will search for it automatically and then report back to you.
Might as well automate a majority of your lowballing practices

Update: Just put a deposit down on an LS1/T56 combo. The guy is giving me a great deal on both with only ~60k miles on the motor and trans.
This actually leaves me with an extra LS1 motor if someone was interested. I will be posting it up as soon as I have the new LS1/t56 in my hands. One step closer........

Damn shame we just put another 1.8 in the Miata... and that I don't have the money to do an EllisJuan install.

This is gonna be awesome. I wanted to do it in the old M3! When it comes to emissions there spare very simple ways to get past that. I have never had a car get tested in nova in over 10 years! This is gonna be awesome! RWD and V8 needs to be in my life soon!

Yay more updates (okay honestly, I did think this project would go a little slower):
I went and test drove the car that has the ls1/t56 that I will be buying and have a deposit on. DANG. That is all I have to say, he is including a Spec Mini Triple Disc X-trim clutch with the setup as well! Even if I find the triple disc a little annoying in daily (although similiar pedal pressure as stock), I could sell it and make decent money.
As far as the motor/trans? It is a rebuilt T56 with all the fancy pants parts. The gearbox has the "gearbox.com"'s Stage 2 upgrades, bronze fork pads, steel shift forks, and oon gears 1-6. The gearbox shifts exceptionally smooth.
And I have had the GSX with lots of power, driven plenty of fast cars, but man o man, the LS1 at 90+ (on closed roads in mexico) is mind-blowing. Just pulls and pulls and pulls. This V8 is going to be ridiculous in a package like the M3.
The owner is pulling the assembly out of the car this weekend, and I will be picking it up Monday night. This solves finding a clutch/throwout bearing/flywheel.

Nice! Is this LS1 also from an F-Body? Or can you take the accessories off of the first motor so they all fit right?
