I'll put on ghost and use a silenced weapon for the next two months and I will bet my TDM k/d jumps up to 1.75+
My goal is to boost my k/d without those because it forces you to move and shoot better, which is what I need to work on. The highest k/d kids I ever play with never use ghost, they've just been playing games like this for a long time so the movement becomes natural.

Wow, talk about swings. I had a few matches of 30-10 and got down to -106 before it all fell apart. I had a ton of 0.5 matches with a couple okay ones thrown in and ended up back at like -125. I then went on a roll and got down to -103 before dropping another 12. The feeling after than was probably the most angry I've been at this game. I finally went 20-2 and am now -96. So tired.

i find i tend to play better w/ the crappy guns. puts me back to the basics instead of relying on gimmicks.

Ya bro it only makes you better! The M16 honestly isn't THAT bad of a gun you just have to adjust your playing style around it. You also start out with an MPK5 class which is an awesome gun...I still use it even at higher levels. The really only annoying thing about prestiging is all of the shit you have to go through to get your perks back.

MP5 is fine. I am horrible with the M16... or anything that requires real aim.
I started 18-0 in my 20-2 game last night and finally died when the 3rd gun I picked up was a rifle. I'm so miserable at aiming. Always have been, even back in the Counterstrike days.

What's the benefit to prestige again? I Never did it in MW2, and I don't really have a compelling reason to do it here either...

Nothing. I do it just to make it interesting because everything resets and I like earning things.

I do it for the challenge because I get bored with having everything...but after I hit the red talon claw one I'm almost over it....just for the sheer grind of getting the usable perks back.
