Their O-Line is still better than the Packers' and Campbell is not that bad of a QB. He just needs more time to read the secondary and he really needs to learn how to slide and escape the pocket more.
As for the helmet, i like the spear design, but i feel it's too close to the Chiefs' helmets.

My understanding of the rule is that the issue is determining who recovered the fumble, which the refs don't usually do if the play is blown dead. However in this case it was clearly recovered by the Saints, so they get possession at the point of recovery.

regardless, the play was blown dead, players probably stopped going for the ball. In this particular case, yes the Saints recovered it, but I thought the rule was across the board in this situation.

this was my understanding as well
Landry's blown coverage (...twice...), the missed field goal chip-shot, and the botched punt return attempt that ended up netting the Saints 21 positive yards - take any one of those away and the replay/challenge in OT wouldn't have mattered
i know that the 'skins are out of the playoff run and a loss would help to get better draft picks, but damnit, i like to see them win! it would've been great to get the publicity of knocking off the 11-0 saints as well.

Allen is a joke, he took a good Tony Dungy's team and slowly turned it to shit. His drafts have not been very good. He and gruden were 33-31 at Tampa, not impressive especially when he inherited Dungys team
I will be very dissapointed if Gruden turns out to be the coach, he has never impressed me as anything more than mediocre.
I was really hoping for Shanahan, or Casserly and Shanahan.
