Re: Project Hatch - Mike - 07-18-2011

also advertise it as "commissioned by rj."

Re: Project Hatch - navin - 07-18-2011

Uhh, I want that driver side seat mount - whatcha want for it?

Re: Project Hatch - xvxax - 07-18-2011

I know there is a lot of debate about mounting seats on sliders, but I have strong faith in double locking sliders like the Sparco ones in my car. Without them, short people (like me) can't drive your car. This might not be a big deal on a track car, but I can't live without my sliders. I'm pretty sure my driving position varies by event. Also, how am I going to show you how it's done when I need to sit on phone books?

Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-18-2011

What are you using to mount your seat navin?

Re: Project Hatch - navin - 07-18-2011

Buddy club rails/sliders for the passenger, shitty Bride ones for the driverside. I dunno, I personally don't mind sliders and really liked the way I sat in them...I wanted to buy the Piper setup off Mike, but we never came to an agreement/time that worked out to swap rails, etc.

Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-18-2011

Well id like to get enough to just cover a sparco base and side mounts. So your call.

Re: Project Hatch - navin - 07-19-2011

Re: Project Hatch - Mike - 07-19-2011

yay inbred mm love sex0rz!!! <3

Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-19-2011

With the new sway bar, use the old end links that came with it? or go with some BLOX adjustable end links???? hmmmmmmmmmm

The end links, front sway bar, and a Water Temp gauge should be the last things I want/need for a while!!!!!

Re: Project Hatch - Mike - 07-19-2011

use adjustables.

Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-20-2011

Looks like I need Front LCAs off an EX/SI or a 94-01 Integra to do the front sway bar. Will be ordering those soon, and picking up a Front GSR sway for $30 Smile. Temp gauge is otw and just need to order front and rear end links. Then im putting my poor debit card away for a while, shes tired.

Re: Project Hatch - navin - 07-20-2011

Have fun with the front sway bar install - its a PITA since you need to remove the shift linkage. I think people have done it without removing it, but I didn't see how Confusedhrug:

If need be, I can mail you my shift linkage removal tool.

Re: Project Hatch - Kaan - 07-20-2011

if you are talking about the tool to remove the pin... its the 5mm (white handle) HF allen tool. $4.99 and you get all the other allens. it worked for my CRX anyway... i just used it like a punch Wink

ghetto rig for lyf y0

Re: Project Hatch - .RJ - 07-20-2011

No, you dont want to use the t-handle tool. You want a rolled pin punch (5mm), and buy two of them. This also comes in very handy when changing timing belt. Mcmaster will have these. You also need a 3-4 lb mini sledge.

Re: Project Hatch - navin - 07-20-2011

Oh, trust me I love me some ghetto rigging. I used to use the airbox bolts on the EG to remove the "bitch" pin. But i use this now: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MVA7AA

5 good hits, and its out.

Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-20-2011

damn, I was just at HF yesterday.....darn looks like ill have to make another trip!

On a side note, did you know that $35 will buy you a set of jack stands, 400 zipties, 8 microfiber towels, and a set of funnels? Cause it does, at HF Smile

Re: Project Hatch - Mike - 07-20-2011

yes. we all have those things already Wink

that shift linkage pin was fuckin' on there. i just dropped it at the shifter to get that trans in instead. good luck with that... feel free to mangle the pin... i sent about five extras with the car.
