The XDM's got two safeties but they're pretty non-intrusive, one grip and one trigger safety.

no worries, i have plans to round out the arsenal. probably a POS ex-military (sks, mosin, enfield, whatever) rifle to start just to put holes in shit (i used to have an sks... so much fun), then a rifle to actually get the job done, and then a shotgun.
