Five litres of 10 individually-throttled cylinders screaming bloody murder through an honest to god 6 speed manual. I'm actually surprised I found one for sale, something like 3% of those M6s sent to the US had 3 pedals.
Only slight drawback is it'd probably cost you the purchase price in maintenance over the next few years.

I actually discussed a 650 (and a C63AMG) as a possibility but lolnope. Just not worth it, in the end. I'd spend more than Mustang money over the next 5 years, and just deal with a totally different stigma.
Nope. This honestly checks all of my boxes now that I don't have to plan to carry a bunch of shit. Gonna try, no promises, but I'm gonna try.

I could see you in a Challenger though. I know it doesn't have any of that fancy modern performance oriented shit you had a chubby over on the previous page. But c'mon. It's a Challenger. You know you love it.

Challenger does precisely nothing for me. It's a super lazy design, the only merit of which being a big ole trunk. I'd rather have an SRT8 300 than a Challenger, because at least then I could sling yayo out the back of it.

Totally get it. The Mustang is obviously the better, more modern car. Something about that slab-sided, lazy, ripped-out-of-the-70s-and-slapped-together design of the Challenger actually does it for me. I don't actually want one, but I would very much like to borrow one and recreate Vanishing Point one day.

Oh, and the challenger is the best looking modern pony car by a country mile. But you cant look at it while you drive it, and it sure would suck to have to do that.
The new mustang looks pretty meh now, and will only go downhill after every you see a sorority girl driving a v6 on every corner, but I appreciate how hard Ford is pushing the segment forward.

New Tacoma doesn't "wow" me. Looks like they're kind of saying "screw you" to the offroad community with the new bumper style in the front. They better drop some impressive news like a diesel or a V8 or something cool to keep people from jumping ship to the Colorado.
I've heard that we're getting 4 wheel disc brakes and a moonroof, which is cool. Backup sensors and 20 inch wheels, as well as a locking tailgate.

MEH is the best I have to say about it. Hate the front end. They just pulled the 2015 4Runner headlights out of the parts bin and slapped it on there. I was hoping this would be a real ringer and potentially help the 1st gen prices drop a bit.. I don't think that will be the case anymore. I wager 1st gen prices go up after this releases..
Moonroof? It's a truck for gods sake
20 inch wheels? Taco Fans better home you can fit something smaller otherwise...Can't wait to buy tires for that.. Any decent set of "offroad" tires in the 20" variety is gonna be pricey.
Locking tailgate? Kinda cool.
I'm hold all judgement until the interior shots come out. I'm inclined to think they didn't go too crazy in there based upon the exterior. Like Taylor said, Toyota better have some kickass drive-train announcements on the 12th. Otherwise, from a quick poke around other forums, looks like people are happy they bough a 15'.

let me honest...who is taking a new Tacoma and going really offroad? because they need to be cut up to really do it right... Toyota is selling to guys that need a not so beefy pick up, which it is... and its very good at what it does. haul 4 people, some wood, a motorcycle, something you wouldn't put in your 4runner. the V6 in them is plenty for what it is.
Toyota, even with the "rock warrior" Tundra, isn't selling to any Offroad Community... and they give ZERO SHITS about them.

if/when i downsize my titan it will be on my list, but it will have to bring something special to beat the colorado. (backup sensors in 2015 isnt it)

I think Chevy is being real sneaky about it and not showing it on the show trucks and pre-production models, but they're shipping them with a big ass air dam just like the one on the Tacoma. All about the MPGs

I know the air dam on the brand-new Tahoe/Suburban is (supposedly) easily removable for off-roading where you want the clearance (but LOL at off-roading a $60k Suburban) - hopefully those on the Colorado and Tacoma are also like that.
