Currently we have one member who autocrosses pretty seriously, I autocross when I can, and we have a couple others who do occasionally. The other people either don't have cars, are completely stock, are too busy with hard majors and applying for jobs/grad school (and also don't care that much) or are just kind of in the club for the meets and car show.
We really don't have many people who are really into Motorsports this year even though we have a lot of members. We have a few that offroad, but they aren't super active in the club. We have a lot of people who are just kind of "here" and don't really take a proactive approach in the club.

I think this explains it. Seems like MM is more fraternity than a club about motorsports these days. There's nothing wrong with it (I met some lifelong friends in my fraternity), but it's gonna be pretty damn hard to close the gap between the generations.

How about when you politely move over when you see two people trying to merge from a merge lane. The second person in the merge lane zooms over into the left lane and rides your ass so you can't even see their hood of their SUV. When you just get passed the person who was in front of them in the merge lane and you want to get over but don't want to cut the guy off so you take an extra second or two to get over. The person behind you two inches from your bumper tries zooming past you on the right.
Jokes on you I'm still coming over. Go ahead and rear end my truck trying to make a dangerous maneuver while tailgating me to where you can't see anything. We will see what the cops say about that :thumbup:

Dr. Appointments...the appointment has become more along the lines of getting cable installed.
You will see the doctor between the hours of 8am and 2pm.
But god forbid I show up 10 minutes late and I will have to reschedule and get charged a $60 no show fee.

My dentist called me with a 'tude when I was 5 minutes late for my appointment yesterday. It's NOVA, I hit four seperate traffic jams getting here. Chill.
We got lucky with our regular doctor though, never really have trouble squeezing in an appt and get seen within 5 minutes of getting there pretty much every time.

Why do I need to flush my cache / clear browsing data every time you make updates to your web application so the updates will actually work? I've never had to flush my cache so my webmail works. Amazon's never suggested I flush my cache. :dunno: :evileye:

People who interrupt you on business calls, especially when you are in the middle of answering a question that either they or their colleague just asked you. I had a Dutch lady on an international call do it to me twice today, and I think because I was professionally forceful with how I answered and addressed it it made her feel bad and she apologized. I can't tell if people do this intentionally as a power play, if it is just in their nature or they are just rude, but imma make you look bad every time you do it
