Re: You know what really grinds my gears?! - Jake - 10-28-2016 I'll pile in to the "will wear a suit happily, but not every day" camp. Both (large-ish) companies I've worked for have required I dress nice but not suit-and-tie nice. Dress shirt or sweater and decent pants is my typical go-to. Jeans are cool but I don't wear 'em every day. My goal is to never work anywhere that a tie is required equipment. Not that I mind wearing one, it just tends to speak to the company culture and I'm not really uptight enough to (happily) work somewhere that would require one. Quit pandering to your audience, Polen. Re: You know what really grinds my gears?! - ScottyB - 10-28-2016 Jake Wrote:JPolen01 Wrote:The Internet never forgets. I'm tired of seeing this whiney shit about the Millennials. Make a new social media if you guys want to keep repeating the same things over and over, and take your back pills. Very few current students have a desire to make a build thread, talk about home improvement, or jerk each other off about guns. What that is indicative of is another ball game. The group chat is NOT the reason for the lack of students on the forums. Find another scapegoat. I propose we all stop caring what the current students do. As stated, they have zero interest in making a build thread or doing anything worth documenting, so screw it. Besides, if you actually get them on here and participating, the first time you suggest they don't make the same stupid mistake you did, it turns into a teary-eyed pissing match. At the very least it'll keep Taylor's hair from turning gray before he's 25. :dunno: |
