But how does it "know" the difference between a corner (smaller shaft speed difference) and a spinning wheel (larger)? Fluid viscosity? Underpants gnomes?

That video says the shaft on the slower wheel in a turn spins opposite relative to the case. That part throws me off cause it's still spinning forward I would think. Just slower than the outside wheel.
But now with your comment, I'm more confused. That's a good point. Maybe speed since the traction wheel wouldn't spin, the worm gear would try to spin because the other wheel is spinning so much and then it locks cause it can't spin the blue gear thing

Idk, it just made me think of Clerks II for some reason. I've missed the last couple seasons of South Park.
Work was incredibly dead today (who would've thought :roll: ) so I taught myself to make a .gif of my favorite scene from The Interview.

I should post it to /r/pyongyang and see how long it lasts. If that was my goal though I could've chosen a much more offensive scene.
Has anyone else watched it yet? I really liked it but I went into it expecting nothing more than a stupid Rogan/Franco comedy flick. I think a lot of people had grand expectations because of all the controversy and set themselves up for disappointment. I enjoyed it, I thought the Sook character stole the show, she was hilarious.

That was poor wording in the video. The whole case is spinning FASTER than the axle with the slow wheel, so its RELATIVE direction is reverse.

I did and yeah, I enjoyed it as well for those same reasons. If you were expecting something else or some grand socio-political commentary than, well, you got honeydicked.
