You guys like that split second of MM screen time? I'm glad he threw that in there.

I wish he had actually driven the car out of the parking lot so maybe he'd have more to talk about than the tires, but we were running out of time and I think the fucked up steering rack might've had him spooked. Still made for a funny video.

I gave him an open invitation to come drive it again if he's ever near DC, now that it's (as of yesterday) back in prime hooning condition.

According to youtube and reddit I'm a douchenozzle deserving corporal punishment for taking my used up accountant's special and ruining it by spending all my money on mods and none to fix the busted piece of shit. Sounds about right.

:thumbup: That was pretty sweet. So, did he share any thoughts with you during the filming about just how he'd rag on your car, or ?. I was kind of surprised he went off so hard on the stance tangent, since I thought that is how every lowered E36 looks (tucking the rear) just due to the geometry of the thing.

I fed him a lot of the stuff about the OBC and fog lights and how things are always broken. I think he totally misunderstood the stance thing. I whined about the fitment issues as a result of my street/track focused suspension setup and sticky, fatass tires. He somehow morphed that into me wanting the car to rub and be as low as possible. I remember telling him how there was a stance culture around the cars, but I dont think he realized this is "my car is too low to drive":

Being born & raised in rural PA i don't think he had ever been exposed to anything other than old domestic car culture, so he probably went home and googled E36s, found all the stance kids circlejerking over the latest guy to get his lip an inch off the ground, and assumed I was part of the same crowd. Oh well, it made for a funny video.

I hope he takes me up on the invitation for another test drive, maybe I'll find an autocross in Maryland or PA to do this year and invite him.
