Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-05-2011 will be in the mail tomorrow via priority mail, work for you? Re: Project Hatch - WRXtranceformed - 07-05-2011 JustinG Wrote:will be in the mail tomorrow via priority mail, work for you?Shit buyer!! Beware seller! Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-05-2011 My cousin from yugoslavia will send you a check via western union for half and I will send you the rest when I get back into the country. Re: Project Hatch - Mike - 07-05-2011 only if he's a prince. let me know if you need my bank account and credit card numbers. slow mail is cool. Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-06-2011 Epic Fail, just got an email from Lynn Combs (BRR SCCA Guy), who was selling the 6ULs. Apparently he just received an email saying there is a recall on the wheels, and he has to check the serial # to be sure these don't fall under the recall. Fingers crossed! Re: Project Hatch - navin - 07-06-2011 WUT DUH! I emailed that guy (well had someone from that board get in touch with him) and he said he was no longer selling the 6UL's! Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-06-2011 interesting, maybe he was just jerking me around, when did you email him? I got in touch with him on Monday. Re: Project Hatch - navin - 07-06-2011 Last week I believe - hrug:
Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-06-2011 so I guess ill keep looking for 15x8 4x100 +36mm wheels....... Re: Project Hatch - navin - 07-06-2011 Maybe he had a change of heart, id keep on it. For the price, they are a steal. Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-06-2011 yea i told him i was still interested even if he sent them back and got brandy new ones. Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-07-2011 So thoughts on this, or am I just trying to hard..... 15x8 TRM C1M (for Miata) +30 offset with Miata hub bore, machined 2mm to fit the EG. ![]() 15x8 TRM C1 +20 offset, had to raise the rear a bit and his fenders are rolled. ![]() I really really dont want to spend $159 a wheel then mount and balance costs for the 6ULs, so these 2 are options in a 15x8 at $99 per wheel free mount and balance, or just do a 15x7 or 7,5 +42 for $89/$99 free mount and balance. Can always look into Rota Slips..... Its really hard to find a 15x8 in the right offset that isnt insanely over priced. Re: Project Hatch - .RJ - 07-07-2011 Just do 15x7.5. You dont need 8" wide wheels. Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-07-2011 will I be ok with the +42mm or should I run like 6mm spacers? Re: Project Hatch - .RJ - 07-07-2011 No idea on that one. Mikey, Kaan.... ? Re: Project Hatch - Mike - 07-07-2011 no idear. been out too long. don't do whatever that person above did. too much effort for too little gain (if any). Re: Project Hatch - Kaan - 07-07-2011 EGs have a ton more room in the wheel wells... 42s might work without spacers. Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-07-2011 after searching for about an hour on HT, seems as though they should be fine. Even saw some posts from the good ole R to the J in my searches So im just gonna order those bad boys and pending how much I like the color, only color they come in is light gray, they may be spray bombed black or UG for old times sake. Re: Project Hatch - Scott - 07-07-2011 JustinG Wrote:interesting, maybe he was just jerking me around, when did you email him? I got in touch with him on Monday. He's a good guy, wouldn't jerk you around (head of BRR-SCCA autocross) Re: Project Hatch - JustinG - 07-07-2011 15x7.5s ordered, with star specs, on back order til the 18th. |
